Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Holdsound BKM400 headphones, please refer to the following common solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No sound from headphones. | Transmitter not powered or connected correctly; TV audio output settings incorrect; Headphones not powered on or low battery. | Ensure the USB transmitter is properly plugged in and powered. Check all cable connections (USB, Optical, AUX, RCA). Verify your TV's audio output is set to the correct source (e.g., PCM for Optical). Power on headphones and check battery level. |
| Static or distorted sound. | Interference; Incorrect TV audio format (for Optical); Loose connection. | Move away from other wireless devices that might cause interference. If using Optical, confirm TV audio output is set to PCM. Re-seat all cables firmly. |
| Headphones not connecting to transmitter. | Transmitter or headphones not powered on; Out of range. | Ensure both the transmitter and headphones are powered on. Bring headphones closer to the transmitter. |
| Short battery life. | Incomplete charging; Aging battery. | Ensure headphones are fully charged (approx. 3 hours). If battery life significantly degrades over time, contact support. |
