Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the single burner from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the burner on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation. The non-skid feet will help keep the unit stable during use.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the 2-pin polarized plug into a standard 120 Volt household electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded.
  4. Initial Use: Before first use, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. It is normal for a slight odor or smoke to occur during the first few minutes of operation as manufacturing oils burn off. This is temporary and will dissipate.

Operating Instructions

  1. Placing Cookware: Place your desired pot or pan directly onto the coil heating element. Ensure the cookware is flat-bottomed and covers the heating coil as much as possible for efficient heating.
  2. Adjusting Heat: Turn the control knob located on the front of the unit to your desired heat setting. The knob offers variable heat control, typically ranging from OFF to LOW, MEDIUM, and HIGH.
  3. Indicator Light: The indicator light will illuminate when the burner is heating. It will cycle on and off during operation to maintain the selected temperature.
  4. Cooking: Allow the burner to preheat for a few minutes before placing food in the cookware. Adjust the heat as needed for simmering, boiling, frying, or sautéing.
  5. After Use: Once cooking is complete, turn the control knob to the OFF position. The indicator light will turn off. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet when not in use.

  2. Drip Shield: The chrome drip shield is designed to catch splatters and spills. It can be removed for easy cleaning. Wash with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
  3. Coil Element: For light cleaning, wipe the coil element with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive cleaner can be used. Do not immerse the electrical components or the entire unit in water.
  4. Exterior: Wipe the exterior housing with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry immediately.
  5. Storage: Store the burner in a dry place when not in use.
