4. Setup and Installation

The XV2-2X supports multiple installation methods, including wall, ceiling tile, and T-bar mounting. The included bracket is designed for compatibility with North American (NA) single-gang junction boxes and European/UK single-gang junction boxes, as well as T-bar ceiling grids.

The XV2-2X is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE). Connect an Ethernet cable from a PoE-enabled switch or injector to the 2.5 GbE Ethernet port (PoE-In) on the access point. The XV2-2X can be onboarded and managed using your choice of Cambium management system:

  • cnMaestro X: A full-featured cloud-based management solution offering elastic scalability and single-pane-of-glass management.
  • cnMaestro Essentials: A license-free cloud-based management solution.

These platforms enable zero-touch provisioning, comprehensive monitoring, and efficient troubleshooting from anywhere via a mobile device or web interface.

Connecting Devices:
