The hollow design of the STRICH STANDARD 18 allows for efficient cable management:

  • Route power cables and patch cables through the slots and channels underneath the pedal board. This keeps your setup tidy and reduces clutter on the top surface.
  • Most standard power supplies can be mounted underneath the pedal board using additional velcro or zip ties (not included).

Operating Instructions

Once your pedals are securely mounted and wired, the STRICH STANDARD 18 pedal board provides a stable platform for your performance.

  • Placement: Position the pedal board on a flat, stable surface. The rubber feet on the bottom of the board provide stability and prevent slipping.
  • Connectivity: Connect your guitar to the input of your first effect pedal and the output of your last effect pedal to your amplifier's input. Ensure all patch cables are securely connected between pedals.
  • Power: Connect your power supply (not included) to your pedals as per their individual power requirements. Route the power cables neatly using the board's cable management features.
  • Usage: Engage and disengage your effect pedals as needed during your performance. The angled design facilitates easy access to footswitches.

Maintenance

The STRICH STANDARD 18 pedal board is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the aluminum surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Velcro Inspection: Periodically check the velcro strips on both the pedals and the board for wear. Replace worn velcro to ensure secure pedal attachment.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the pedal board in its included carry bag to protect it from dust, scratches, and minor impacts.
  • Transport: Always use the carry bag when transporting the pedal board to prevent damage to the board and your mounted pedals.
