1. Introduction

3. Setup & Installation

3.1 Connecting the Docking Station

  1. Connect the 12V Power Adapter to the docking station's power input port and then plug it into a power outlet.
  2. Connect the 1M Data Cable (USB-A to USB-B) from the docking station's USB 3.0 port to an available USB 3.0 port on your computer (PC, laptop, etc.).
  3. Ensure the docking station's power button is in the OFF position before inserting a hard drive.

3.2 Inserting a Hard Drive

  1. Gently slide your 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD into the top slot of the docking station, ensuring the SATA connectors align properly.
  2. Push down firmly until the drive is securely seated. The tool-less design allows for easy insertion and removal.

4. Operation

4.1 Powering On and Data Access

  1. After inserting the hard drive, press the power button on the back of the docking station to turn it ON.
  2. The blue LED indicator will light up, indicating the device is powered on.
  3. Your computer should automatically detect the connected hard drive. You can now access files, perform backups, or transfer data.

4.2 LED Indicators

4.3 Auto Sleep Mode

6. Troubleshooting

  • This is a normal notification for connection/disconnection. There is no option to disable the beep.
