Setup
Initial Setup Steps
- Download arboleaf app and register: Search for "arboleaf" in your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and install the application. Follow the on-screen prompts to create an account.
- Select unit: Within the arboleaf app, navigate to settings and choose your preferred unit of measurement (lb, kg, st, st:lb).
- Pair device by tapping scale in app: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. Open the arboleaf app and follow the instructions to pair your scales. The app will guide you through the connection process.
- Enter height and details, enable Body Type and Metabolic Age: Complete your personal profile in the app, including height, age, and gender. Enable advanced metrics like Body Type and Metabolic Age for comprehensive analysis.
- Step onto scale to measure: Once paired and your profile is set up, step onto the scales barefoot to take your first measurement. The scales will display your weight and other metrics, which will also sync to the app.
Note: First, pair with Arboleaf app via Bluetooth. Then, set up personal profile. Afterward, view all data on scale without phone.

Taking a Measurement
To ensure accurate readings, place the scales on a hard, flat surface. Step onto the scales barefoot, ensuring your feet are positioned on the four electrode areas. Remain still until the measurement is complete and the display stabilizes.

- Weight: Your current body weight.
- BMI (Body Mass Index): A measure of body fat based on height and weight.
- Body Fat Rate: Percentage of body weight that is fat.
- Muscle Mass: The total amount of muscle in your body.
- Body Water: The percentage of water in your body.
- Bone Mass: The amount of bone mineral in your body.

- Athlete Mode: For users with intensive exercise routines (6+ hours/week, age 18+), Athlete Mode provides tailored measurements.
- Sync with Fitness Apps: The arboleaf app seamlessly integrates with Apple Health, Google Fit, and Fitbit, allowing you to centralize your health data.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Scales
