4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Printer
Before first use, fully charge the printer. Connect the provided USB cable to the printer's charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
4.2 Installing Thermal Paper
- Open the paper compartment cover.
- Insert the thermal paper roll or folded paper into the compartment, ensuring the printing side faces the print head.
- Adjust the paper width using the two clips inside the compartment to match your paper size (210mm, 107mm, 77mm, or 56mm).
- Close the paper compartment cover securely.

4.3 Installing the PeriPage App
The PeriPage A40 printer requires the official PeriPage application for operation. You can download it by:
- Searching for "PeriPage" in your device's app store (Apple App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android).
- Scanning the QR code provided in the physical instruction manual that came with your printer.
4.4 Connecting via Bluetooth
- Ensure your printer is powered on and your mobile device's Bluetooth is enabled.
- Open the PeriPage application.
- Within the app, navigate to the device connection section (usually indicated by a Bluetooth icon).
- Select your PeriPage A40 printer from the list of available devices to establish a connection.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
5.2 Printing from Mobile Devices (iOS/Android)
- Ensure the printer is connected to your mobile device via the PeriPage app (refer to Section 4.4).
- Open the document, image, or web page you wish to print within the PeriPage app.
- Select the print option within the app. You may be able to adjust print settings such as density or paper type.
- Confirm your selection to begin printing.
5.3 Printing from Computers (Windows/Mac OS)
The PeriPage A40 also supports printing from Windows and Mac OS computers.
- Connect the printer to your computer using the provided USB cable.
- Download and install the appropriate printer drivers from the official PeriPage website.
- Once drivers are installed, the printer will appear as an available printing device in your computer's print dialogue.
- Open the document or image you wish to print, select the PeriPage A40 as your printer, and initiate the print job.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Print Head
To maintain optimal print quality, periodically clean the print head. Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the print head surface. Ensure the printer is off and completely dry before use.
6.2 Storage
When not in use, store the printer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and dust. Remove any paper from the compartment if storing for an extended period.
7. Troubleshooting
- Printer not turning on: Ensure the printer is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
- Cannot connect via Bluetooth:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Restart both the printer and your mobile device.
- Make sure the PeriPage app is installed and you are attempting to connect through the app, not directly through your device's Bluetooth settings.
- If issues persist, try reinstalling the PeriPage app.
- Poor print quality or blank pages:
- Check if the thermal paper is loaded correctly with the printing side facing the print head.
- Ensure the paper is thermal paper and not regular paper.
- Clean the print head as described in Section 6.1.
- Ensure the printer battery is not critically low.
- PeriPage App not found in app store: Ensure you are searching for "PeriPage" in official app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) or scanning the QR code provided in the physical manual. Verify your device's region settings if you encounter difficulties.
