3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Battery Installation
The electronic keypad requires 4 AA batteries (not included). To install the batteries:
- Open the safe using the emergency override key (refer to Section 4.3).
- Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
- Insert 4 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
3.2 Wall Mounting (Optional)
For enhanced security, the safe can be mounted to a wall or floor using the pre-drilled holes and included hardware.
- Choose a suitable location for mounting.
- Mark the drilling points on the wall or floor through the pre-drilled holes at the back or bottom of the safe.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked points.
- Insert the wall anchors into the drilled holes.
- Align the safe with the holes and secure it using the mounting bolts.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Setting/Changing the Passcode
To set your personal passcode:
- With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door (usually near the hinge). The yellow light on the keypad will illuminate.
- Enter your desired 3-8 digit passcode on the keypad.
- Press the "E" button to confirm. The yellow light will turn off, indicating the new passcode is set.
- Test the new passcode with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.
4.2 Opening the Safe with Passcode
- Enter your 3-8 digit passcode.
- Press the "E" button. The green light will illuminate.
- Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the door.
4.3 Opening the Safe with Emergency Override Key
In case of forgotten passcode or dead batteries, use the emergency override key:
- Remove the small cover plate located on the keypad panel to reveal the keyhole.
- Insert the emergency key into the keyhole and turn it counter-clockwise.
- Simultaneously turn the knob clockwise to open the door.
- Keep emergency keys in a secure location away from the safe.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the safe's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator lights up or if the keypad becomes unresponsive. Always use 4 new AA batteries.
- Key Storage: Store emergency override keys in a secure, separate location, not inside the safe.
6. Troubleshooting
