Setup
1. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the Insta360 X3 battery using the provided USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status.
2. Inserting a MicroSD Card
The Insta360 X3 requires a MicroSD card (not included) to store footage. Open the side door, insert the MicroSD card with the contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is a V30 or higher speed class for optimal performance.
3. Firmware Update
It is recommended to update your camera's firmware to the latest version for optimal performance and compatibility with accessories. Basic Operation
Power On/Off
- Power On: Press the Power button once.
- Power Off: Long-press the Power button.
Start/Stop Recording
- Start Recording: Press the Shutter button (Q button) once.
- Stop Recording: Press the Shutter button (Q button) once again.
Switching Modes
When the camera is powered on and in preview mode, press the Power button once to enter the mode-switching page. Press the Power button again to browse different shooting modes. Press the Q button once to select a mode. Double-press the Q button to quickly switch between single-lens and 360 modes.
