Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your SIMOLIO SM-829D2 headphones, please refer to the following common solutions or contact support.
No Sound Issues
One of the most common issues is no sound from the headphones. This is often related to TV audio settings. Ensure your TV's digital audio output is set to PCM (Pulse-Code Modulation) format, especially when using optical connection.
- Check TV Sound Output Settings: Navigate to your TV's sound settings and ensure the audio output is directed to the correct external device (Optical/Headset/External Speaker) and not just the TV speakers.
- Set Digital Output to PCM: For optical connections, verify that your TV's Digital Sound Output Format is set to PCM. Dolby Digital or other surround sound formats may not be compatible.
- Power Cycle TV: Unplug your TV from the power outlet for a few minutes, then plug it back in. This can resolve temporary audio glitches.
