3. Installation and Setup
3.1 Choosing a Location
Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of space around the unit for proper airflow. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight. The unit is designed for rooms up to 30m².

3.2 Window Kit Installation
The window kit is designed for sliding windows to exhaust hot air outside.
- Assemble the sliding window sealing plate kit according to your window size.
- Connect one end of the retractable exhaust hose to the air outlet on the back of the unit.
- Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the adapter on the window sealing plate.
- Secure the window sealing plate in the open window, ensuring a tight seal to prevent air leakage.
- Extend the exhaust hose to its full length (up to 1.5m) and ensure it is not bent or obstructed.
4. Operating Instructions
The SHINCO SPF3-12H can be controlled via its integrated control panel, the remote control, or the 'Smart Life' mobile application.
4.1 Control Panel
The control panel on top of the unit features an LED display and various buttons for operation.

- Power Button: Turns the unit ON/OFF.
- Mode Button: Cycles through Cooling, Heating, Fan, and Dehumidifier modes.
- Fan Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed (Low, Medium, High).
- Temperature Up/Down Buttons: Adjusts the desired temperature.
- Timer Button: Sets the 24-hour timer.
- Swing Button: Activates/deactivates automatic louver swing.
- Wi-Fi Indicator: Shows Wi-Fi connection status.
4.2 Remote Control
The remote control provides convenient operation from a distance of up to 7 meters.

4.3 Smart Life App Control
For remote control and advanced features, download the 'Smart Life' app on your smartphone.
- Download the 'Smart Life' app from your app store.
- Register or log in to your account.
- Ensure your air conditioner and smartphone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz).
- Follow the in-app instructions to add your SHINCO SPF3-12H unit.
- Once connected, you can control the unit from anywhere with an internet connection.

4.4 Operating Modes
- Cooling Mode: Reduces room temperature. Set desired temperature between 16°C and 30°C.
- Heating Mode: Increases room temperature. Set desired temperature between 16°C and 30°C.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling or heating. Fan speed can be adjusted.
- Dehumidifier Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air. The unit has a dehumidification capacity of 1.2 L/h. Ensure the water tank is regularly drained.
- Sleep Mode: Activates a quiet operation mode, automatically adjusting fan speed to the lowest setting for a peaceful environment.

4.5 Timer Function
The 24-hour timer allows you to program the unit to turn ON or OFF automatically. Press the 'Timer' button and use the temperature up/down buttons to set the desired time interval.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.
5.1 Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Locate and remove the air filter from the back or side of the unit.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
5.2 Draining Water
During dehumidification or cooling, water will accumulate in the internal tank (capacity 1200 ml). The unit will indicate when the tank is full. You may need to drain it more frequently in high humidity conditions, especially during heating mode as noted in user feedback.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Place a shallow pan or container under the drain port, usually located at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
- Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
5.3 Storage
If storing the unit for an extended period:
- Drain all accumulated water.
- Clean the air filter.
- Run the unit in fan-only mode for a few hours to dry the interior.
- Store the unit in a dry, upright position, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Utilize the integrated cable organizer for neat storage of the power cord.

6. Troubleshooting
