1. Introduction

4. Setup

1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the Arctic Air Chill Zone from its packaging. Place it on a flat, level surface.
2. Prepare the Cooling Cartridge:

   For best cooling results, wet the cooling cartridge under running cold water. For maximum cooling, place the wet cartridge in the freezer for approximately 1 hour until frozen. Insert the cartridge back into the unit.
3. Fill the Water Tank:

   Open the top-fill tank cover. Slowly pour cold water directly into the tank using a pitcher to avoid spilling. Fill up to the 'MAX FILL' line indicated on the tank. Adding ice cubes to the water tank can further enhance cooling.
4. Connect Power: Plug the provided power adapter into the unit's power port and then into a standard electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press the power button (usually the fan icon) to turn the unit on. Press again to cycle through fan speeds or hold to turn off.
2. Adjust Fan Speed: Press the fan speed button (fan icon) repeatedly to cycle through Low, Medium, High, and Turbo speeds. The indicator lights will show the current speed setting.
3. Cooling Control: Press the snowflake icon button to activate or adjust the cooling mode. This engages the Hydro-Chill Technology.
4. Turbo Boost: For maximum cooling and airflow, press the 'Turbo Boost' button (plus sign icon).
5. Night Light: Press the light bulb icon button to turn on the soothing LED night light. Press again to cycle through the 7 different color options or turn it off.

6. Adjust Air Vent: Manually adjust the multi-directional air vent on the front of the unit to direct the cool air as desired.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning the Water Tank: Regularly clean the water tank to prevent mold and mildew growth. Unplug the unit, empty the tank, and wipe it with a soft cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly.
• Replacing the Cooling Cartridge: The cooling cartridge should be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage. To replace, open the top cover, remove the old cartridge, and insert a new one.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use for an extended period, empty the water tank, clean the unit, and allow it to dry completely. Store in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting

• Unit Not Turning On: Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the unit and a working electrical outlet.
• No Cool Air: Check if the water tank is filled. Ensure the cooling cartridge is wet or frozen for optimal performance. Verify that the cooling mode is activated.
• Water Leakage: Ensure the unit is placed on a flat, level surface. Do not overfill the water tank beyond the 'MAX FILL' line.
• Excessive Noise: Check for any obstructions in the fan blades. Ensure the unit is on a stable surface.
• Reduced Airflow: Clean or replace the cooling cartridge if it appears clogged or dirty.
