1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Setup

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed from the iron.

3. First Use (Steam Test):

4. Operating Instructions

Filling the Water Tank:

1. Ensure the iron is unplugged.
2. Open the filling hole cover.
3. Hold the iron in a tilted position and fill the water tank with tap water up to the 'MAX' indication. Do not overfill.
4. Close the filling hole cover securely.

Setting the Temperature:

1. Refer to the fabric care label on your garment.
2. Turn the temperature dial to the appropriate setting for your fabric type (e.g., synthetic, silk, wool, cotton, linen).
3. Plug in the iron. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating the iron is heating up.
4. Wait until the indicator light goes out, signaling that the set temperature has been reached.

Steam Ironing:

1. Ensure the water tank is filled.
2. Set the temperature to a steam-suitable setting (usually cotton or linen).
3. Once the iron reaches the set temperature, slide the steam control to the desired steam level.
4. Iron your garments, moving the iron smoothly over the fabric.

Dry Ironing:

For delicate fabrics or when steam is not desired:

1. Ensure the water tank is empty or set the steam control to the 'no steam' position.
2. Set the temperature dial to the appropriate setting for your fabric.
3. Proceed with ironing as usual.

Spray Function:

Press the spray button to moisten stubborn creases. This function can be used with or without steam.

Steam Boost:

For extra stubborn creases, press the steam boost button for a powerful burst of steam. Wait a few seconds between bursts to allow the iron to reheat.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

After Each Use:

1. Unplug the iron and allow it to cool down completely.
2. Empty any remaining water from the water tank.
3. Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth to remove any starch or fabric residue.
4. Store the iron upright on its heel rest to prevent damage to the soleplate.

Descaling (Calc-Clean Function):

Regular descaling helps maintain optimal steam performance. Refer to your iron's specific instructions for its Calc-Clean function, typically performed every 1-3 months depending on water hardness and usage.

1. Fill the water tank to the MAX level.
2. Set the steam control to 'no steam' and the temperature to maximum.
3. Plug in the iron and wait for the indicator light to go out.
4. Unplug the iron.
5. Hold the iron over a sink, press and hold the Calc-Clean button (if available, or follow manual's specific descaling steps). Shake the iron gently back and forth. Hot water and steam will come out of the soleplate, carrying scale particles.
6. Continue until the water tank is empty.
7. Plug in the iron again and let it heat up to dry the soleplate.
