3. Product Overview
3.1. Connectivity & Power
This camera operates on 4G LTE cellular networks, eliminating the need for Wi-Fi. It is ideal for remote locations such as farms, construction sites, or vacation homes. The built-in 9000mAh rechargeable battery is continuously charged by a 5W high-efficiency solar panel, ensuring uninterrupted operation without external power sources.

3.2. Video Quality & Features
The camera captures video in 2K HD (3MP) resolution, providing clear footage. It features Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) functionality, allowing 355° horizontal rotation and 90° vertical tilt, controllable via the UBox App. It also supports 4X digital zoom.
Equipped with 4 upgraded infrared LEDs, the camera offers both standard infrared night vision and vivid HD color night vision, capturing details even in complete darkness.

3.3. Audio & Durability
A built-in microphone and speaker enable two-way audio communication, allowing you to interact with individuals near the camera. The IP66 weatherproof rating ensures the camera's resilience against harsh weather conditions, including sun, rain, and snow, with an operating temperature range of -10°C to 60°C (14°F to 140°F).

4. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your Xega 4G LTE Cellular Security Camera:
4.1. Initial Preparation
- Charge the Camera: Although solar-powered, it is recommended to fully charge the camera's built-in battery using the provided charging cable before initial use.
- SIM Card & SD Card: The camera comes with a built-in trial SIM card. If you wish to use a TF (Micro SD) card for local storage (up to 128GB, not included), locate the card slot and insert it.
4.2. App Download & Registration
Download the "UBox" app from your mobile phone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or App Store for iOS). You can scan the QR code provided in the user manual or on the product packaging to quickly find the app.
Once installed, open the UBox app and register for an account using your email address. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the registration process.
4.3. Device Pairing
Power on the camera. In the UBox app, select "Setup 4G Device" and follow the instructions to pair your camera. The app will guide you through the connection process, which typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or confirming a blue LED light indicator.
4.4. Physical Installation
Choose a suitable outdoor location for installation, ensuring the solar panel receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day. Use the provided mounting brackets and screws to securely attach the camera and solar panel to a wall or other stable surface. Connect the solar panel to the camera using the provided connection cable.

5. Operation
Once set up, you can access and control your camera via the UBox app from anywhere with 4G LTE coverage.
5.1. Live View & PTZ Control
Open the UBox app to access the live feed from your camera. Use the on-screen controls to pan (355°), tilt (90°), and digitally zoom (4X) the camera to monitor different areas.
5.2. Two-Way Audio
Tap the microphone icon in the app to enable two-way audio. You can speak through your phone, and your voice will be projected through the camera's speaker, allowing real-time communication with visitors or deterring intruders.
5.3. Motion Detection & Alerts
The camera features PIR motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera will automatically record and send instant alerts to your UBox app, ensuring you are notified of any activity around your property.
5.4. Recording & Playback
Recordings can be stored locally on a TF card (if installed) or securely in the military-level cloud storage (trial period available). You can review recorded footage directly from the app's playback interface.

6. Maintenance
- Solar Panel Cleaning: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris that may reduce charging efficiency.
- Camera Lens Cleaning: Gently clean the camera lens with a microfiber cloth to ensure clear image quality. Avoid abrasive materials.
- Battery Health: While solar-powered, ensure the camera is placed in a location with sufficient sunlight to maintain optimal battery charge. In prolonged cloudy periods, manual charging may be necessary.
- Firmware Updates: Check the UBox app periodically for any available firmware updates to ensure your camera has the latest features and security enhancements.
7. Troubleshooting
- Camera Not Connecting: Ensure the camera is powered on and the SIM card has an active data plan. Check the signal strength in the app. If issues persist, try resetting the camera (refer to manual for reset button location).
- Poor Image Quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure there are no obstructions in the camera's field of view. Check the network signal strength.
- Battery Draining Quickly: Verify the solar panel is clean and receiving direct sunlight for several hours daily. Reduce motion detection sensitivity or recording duration if the camera is in a high-traffic area.
- No Motion Alerts: Check motion detection settings in the UBox app. Ensure the camera is positioned correctly to capture motion in the desired area.
- Two-Way Audio Issues: Ensure microphone and speaker settings are enabled in the app. Check network connectivity for stable audio transmission.
