This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your JOYMOR BBP1B Baby Bassinet and Playard. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference. This product is designed to serve as a baby bassinet, bedside sleeper, and playard, adapting to your child's growth from infancy to toddlerhood.

Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.

• Always ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged before placing a child in the bassinet or playard.
• Never leave your child unattended. Constant supervision is required.
• Discontinue use of the bassinet feature when the child begins to push up on hands and knees, or has reached 18 lbs (approximately 8.2 kg), or is 35 inches (approximately 89 cm) tall, whichever comes first.
• The playard is intended for children unable to climb out, less than 35 inches (approximately 89 cm) tall, and weighing less than 33 lbs (approximately 15 kg).
• Only use the mattress/pad provided by the manufacturer. Never add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding.
• Ensure the bedside sleeper is securely attached to the adult bed using the provided safety belts. The adult mattress must be aligned with the bassinet mattress to prevent gaps.
• Keep small parts and packaging materials away from children to prevent choking hazards.
• Regularly inspect the product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. Do not use if any parts are damaged or missing.

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your JOYMOR BBP1B Bassinet and Playard.

Assembly Video Guide

Step-by-Step Assembly

1. Unpack and Prepare: Remove the bassinet from its carry bag. Unfasten the straps holding the mattress around the folded frame.
2. Initial Unfolding: Stand the bassinet upright in a half-open status.
3. Lock Side Rails: Lift the short side bars upwards with both hands until they lock into place. Repeat for the long side bars. Ensure all four side rails are fully locked and rigid.
4. Secure Base: Press down on the middle part of the base until it is completely flat and stable.
5. Install Bassinet Layer (for infants): If using as a bassinet, zip up the center layer securely around the top perimeter of the playard. Ensure all zippers are fully closed.
6. Insert Support Bars: Place the provided support bars into the designated sleeves on the underside of the bassinet layer to provide additional stability.
7. Place Mattress: Lay the mattress flat on the installed bassinet layer or directly on the playard base.

Operating Modes

The JOYMOR BBP1B offers versatile functionality with multiple modes of use.

1. Bedside Sleeper Mode

This mode allows the bassinet to be placed next to an adult bed, providing close proximity to your baby. The side panel can be lowered for easy access.

• To Engage: Lower one side panel by disengaging its locking mechanism.
• Secure to Adult Bed: Use the provided safety belts to firmly attach the bassinet to the adult bed frame. Ensure there are no gaps between the bassinet and the adult mattress. The bassinet mattress should be level with the adult mattress.
• Adjust Height: The bassinet features adjustable height settings to match various bed heights. Adjust the height by pressing the buttons on the side legs and sliding them up or down.

2. Standalone Bassinet Mode

For use as a traditional bassinet, ensuring all four side panels are locked in the upright position.

3. Playard Mode

Once your child outgrows the bassinet layer, the product converts into a spacious playard. Remove the bassinet layer and place the mattress directly on the lower base.

• Zippered Entrance: The playard features a zippered side entrance for easy access for older babies and toddlers.

Music Box and Mobile

Attach the music box and mobile arm to the side of the bassinet. Ensure it is securely fastened. The mobile features three soft animal toys that rotate while playing melodies to soothe your child.

Mobility

The bassinet is equipped with two wheels for easy movement. Each wheel has a braking mechanism. Engage the brakes when the bassinet is stationary to prevent accidental movement.

Cleaning Instructions

• Frame: Wipe the frame and plastic parts with a damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
• Mattress: The mattress pad can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Ensure it is completely dry before re-inserting.

Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter.

Side Rail Refuses to Lock

If a side rail does not lock into place, it is often due to the central base not being fully depressed or the rail not being lifted correctly.

• Solution: Ensure the central base of the playard is fully pushed down and flat. Then, firmly pull the red rope (located in the center of the playard base) upwards to make the frame upright. While holding the rope, lift the side rail with both hands until it clicks and locks into position. Repeat for all rails.
