6. Setup Guide

Follow these steps for proper installation of your PC components:

6.1 Preparing the Case

1. Carefully remove the tempered glass side panels. Most panels are secured with thumbscrews or a hinge mechanism.
2. Identify the internal layout. The AMANSON H9 features a dual-chamber design for optimized component separation and cable management.
3. Fan Orientation: Some users report that pre-installed fans may be oriented for exhaust. For optimal cooling, ensure intake fans (typically front/side/bottom) pull cool air into the case and exhaust fans (typically top/rear) push hot air out. Adjust fan orientation as needed by unscrewing and flipping them.

6.2 Motherboard Installation

1. Install the necessary motherboard standoffs if they are not pre-installed for your motherboard size (ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX).
2. Carefully place your motherboard onto the standoffs, aligning the screw holes.
3. Secure the motherboard with the provided screws.

6.3 Power Supply Unit (PSU) Installation

1. Mount the PSU in its designated compartment, typically at the rear bottom of the case.
2. Secure the PSU with screws from the rear of the case.
3. Route the necessary power cables through the cable management cutouts to the main compartment.

6.4 Storage Drive Installation (SSD/HDD)

The case supports 2.5-inch SSDs and 3.5-inch HDDs. Locate the dedicated mounting brackets or trays.

1. Attach your SSDs or HDDs to the appropriate trays/mounts using the provided screws.
2. Slide or secure the trays back into their positions.

6.5 Graphics Card (GPU) Installation

1. Remove the necessary PCI-E slot covers from the rear of the case.
2. Insert your graphics card into the PCI-E slot on the motherboard.
3. Secure the graphics card with screws. The case also supports vertical GPU mounting (riser cable not included).

6.6 Connecting Front I/O Cables

Connect the front panel cables (USB, Audio, Power, Reset, LED) to their corresponding headers on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for specific header locations.

6.8 Cable Management

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Powering On/Off

Press the Power Button on the front I/O panel to turn your system on or off. A short press typically initiates power on, while a longer press (usually 4-5 seconds) will force a shutdown.

7.2 ARGB Fan Control

The pre-installed ARGB fans can be controlled in two ways:

• Motherboard Sync: If your motherboard has a +5V ARGB header, connect the fan controller to it. You can then control the fan lighting effects using your motherboard's RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion).
• LED Switch Button: If not connected to a motherboard header, or if you prefer manual control, use the LED Switch Button on the front I/O panel to cycle through various pre-set lighting modes. Pressing the button twice may toggle between motherboard and hub control, depending on the specific fan hub.

8. Maintenance

Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your PC components.

• Dust Filters: The AMANSON H9 is equipped with magnetic dust filters on the top and bottom. Regularly remove and clean these filters to prevent dust buildup inside the case, which can impede airflow and affect cooling efficiency.

• General Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the case, including the tempered glass panels. For stubborn smudges on glass, a glass cleaner can be used, applied to the cloth first, not directly to the glass.
• Internal Cleaning: Periodically use compressed air to remove dust from internal components and fan blades. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.

9. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your AMANSON H9 PC case, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• System Not Powering On:
  • Check all power connections, including the 24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, and GPU power cables.
  • Ensure the PSU switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Verify that the front panel power switch cable is correctly connected to the motherboard header.
• Fans Not Spinning or Lighting Up:
  • Check fan power connections to the fan hub or motherboard.
  • Ensure ARGB cables are securely connected to the +5V ARGB header on the motherboard or the fan hub.
  • If using motherboard software, ensure it is installed and configured correctly.
  • Try pressing the LED Switch Button on the front I/O panel to cycle through modes or activate manual control.
• Poor Airflow/High Temperatures:
  • Verify that all fans are oriented correctly (intake vs. exhaust).

• USB Ports Not Functioning:
  • Check that the front panel USB cables (USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Type-C) are securely connected to the corresponding headers on your motherboard.
  • Note that USB ports are primarily for data transfer and not recommended for power charging, as most motherboards USB ports support a maximum voltage of 5V.
