3. Installation

3.1 Mounting Options

The device can be installed using either screws or double-sided adhesive tape.

3.2 Signal Acquisition

To enable the hour meter to detect engine operation, it is necessary to prepare the device by cutting a specific wire. Locate the small wire coil on the back of the product, typically associated with the telecommunication wire. Carefully cut this wire to activate the vibration detection function.

4. Operating Instructions

Once installed and activated, the YOOREAL HM016 operates automatically.

• Automatic Tracking: The meter begins accumulating operating hours when it detects vibrations from the equipment.
• Display: The LCD screen continuously displays the total accumulated operating hours. The display can show readings up to 99,999 hours.
• Accuracy: For readings between 0 and 9999.9 hours, the accuracy is 0.1 hours. For readings between 10000 and 99999 hours, the accuracy is 1 hour.
• Vibration Threshold: The device is designed to detect vibrations with a frequency greater than 4Hz to ensure accurate tracking of active operation.

5. Maintenance

The YOOREAL HM016 is designed for minimal maintenance due to its sealed construction.

• Battery: The device contains an integrated CR2430 battery. Due to the 100% epoxy sealing for waterproofing, the battery is not user-replaceable. The meter is designed to operate for its expected lifespan on the factory-installed battery. Once the battery is depleted, the entire unit will require replacement.
• Waterproof Integrity: The epoxy sealing provides an IP68 waterproof rating. Avoid attempting to open the unit, as this will compromise its waterproof capabilities and void the warranty.

6. Troubleshooting

• Meter Not Counting Hours:
  • Ensure the small wire coil on the back of the product has been cut as per installation instructions.
  • Verify that the equipment is producing sufficient vibration (frequency >4Hz) during operation.
  • Check if the meter is securely mounted to a part of the equipment that effectively transmits vibrations.
  • If the meter has been in use for an extended period, the internal battery may be depleted. As the battery is not replaceable, the unit will require replacement.
• Display Not Visible:
  • The internal battery may be depleted. The unit will require replacement.
