Setup

The Kaistyle Magnetic Phone Holder offers two primary installation methods: dashboard adhesive mounting and air vent mounting.

Dashboard Mounting (Adhesive Base)

1. Clean the desired dashboard surface thoroughly with an alcohol wipe and allow it to dry completely. Ensure the surface is flat and smooth.
2. Peel off the protective film from the VHB adhesive on the adhesive base.
3. Firmly press the adhesive base onto the cleaned dashboard surface for at least 30 seconds.
4. Allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before attaching the magnet head or your phone to ensure maximum stick force.
5. Attach the MagSafe magnet head to the ball joint on the adhesive base and tighten the collar to secure it.

Air Vent Mounting (Metal Hook)

1. Identify a suitable air vent in your vehicle. The metal hook is designed for horizontal, vertical, and grid-style vents, but not round vents.
2. Attach the MagSafe magnet head to the ball joint on the metal hook component and tighten the collar to secure it.
3. Insert the metal hook firmly into one of the air vent blades. Ensure it is securely latched to prevent movement.
4. Adjust the angle of the mount using the swivel ball joint for optimal viewing.

Operating

Attaching Your Phone

• Ensure your phone is MagSafe compatible (iPhone 12/13/14/15/16 series or official MagSafe case). If not, attach the provided metal ring to the back of your phone or phone case, centered for optimal magnetic connection.
• Simply bring your phone close to the magnetic head of the mount. The strong magnets will automatically align and secure your phone in place.

Detaching Your Phone

• Grasp your phone firmly and pull it away from the magnetic head. Due to the strong magnetic hold, a firm pull may be required.

Adjusting Viewing Angle

• The mount features a 360° adjustable swivel ball joint. Loosen the collar behind the magnetic head slightly, adjust your phone to the desired portrait or landscape orientation and angle, then tighten the collar to secure it.
