4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
Before installation, fully charge the camera's built-in 9000mAh battery using the provided USB-A to USB-C charging cable. A full charge ensures optimal performance from the start.
4.2 App Installation & Configuration
- Download the CanHipro App from your smartphone's app store (available on Google Play and Apple App Store).
- Register for an account and log in.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or manual input.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. This camera does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
4.3 Mounting the Camera and Solar Panel
Choose an optimal location for your camera and solar panel. The camera should have a clear view of the area you wish to monitor, and the solar panel should receive maximum direct sunlight throughout the day for continuous charging.
- Attach the camera's mounting bracket to your desired surface using the provided screws and wall anchors.
- Slide the camera onto its mounted bracket. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Mount the solar panel in a location that receives ample sunlight, ideally within reach of the camera's USB-C cable.
- Connect the solar panel's USB-C cable to the camera's charging port. Ensure the waterproof seal is properly closed to prevent water ingress.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Live View & Playback
Open the CanHipro App on your smartphone to access the live feed from your camera. You can:
- Pan & Tilt: Use the on-screen controls to remotely rotate the camera 350° horizontally and 90° vertically to adjust your viewing angle.
- 2K HD Video: View crystal-clear 2K resolution video in real-time.
- Color Night Vision: The camera automatically switches to color night vision mode in low-light conditions, providing detailed nighttime surveillance.
- Playback: Access recorded footage stored on your Micro SD card or cloud storage.

5.2 Motion Detection & Alerts
The camera utilizes PIR human detection to minimize false alarms. Configure motion detection settings within the app:
- PIR Human Detection: Enable this feature to ensure the camera only alerts you to human presence, ignoring pets or swaying branches.
- Activity Zones: Define specific areas within the camera's view where motion detection should be active.
- Instant Alerts: Receive push notifications on your mobile phone when human motion is detected.
- Siren & Spotlight: Set the camera to automatically trigger its spotlight and siren upon detection, or activate them manually through the app to deter unwanted visitors.

5.3 Two-Way Audio
Engage in real-time conversations with visitors or deter intruders using the camera's two-way audio feature:
- Tap the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera's speaker.
- Listen to audio from the camera's surroundings through your phone.

6. Maintenance
- Clean Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris that may hinder its charging efficiency.
- Check Connections: Periodically inspect all cable connections, especially the USB-C connection to the camera, to ensure they are secure and the waterproof seal is intact.
- Battery Health: While solar-powered, extreme weather conditions or prolonged periods without sunlight may affect battery levels. Monitor battery status via the app and manually charge if necessary.
- Lens Cleaning: Gently clean the camera lens with a microfiber cloth to ensure clear image quality.
7. Troubleshooting
- Camera Not Connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. This camera does not support 5GHz networks. Verify your Wi-Fi password and signal strength. Try resetting the camera by pressing the reset button (located under the waterproof cover) for about 5 seconds until you hear a voice prompt.
- Camera Keeps Getting Offline: Check your Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera's location. Ensure the camera battery is sufficiently charged. If using the solar panel, verify it receives adequate sunlight.
- Poor Image Quality: Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstructions. Check your network connection speed.
- Motion Detection Issues: Adjust the PIR sensitivity settings in the app. Ensure activity zones are correctly configured.
- Water Ingress: Double-check that all waterproof covers and seals, especially around the charging port, are securely closed after installation or maintenance.
