TUXING PCP Hand Pump TXHP002 Instruction Manual

Model: TXHP002

1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective operation and maintenance of your TUXING PCP Hand Pump, Model TXHP002. This four-stage high-pressure air pump is designed for inflating air rifles, air pistols, and other compatible pneumatic devices up to 4500 PSI (300 Bar).

2. Safety Information

  • Always wear appropriate eye protection when operating the pump.
  • Never exceed the maximum pressure rating of the device being inflated or the pump itself (4500 PSI / 300 Bar).
  • Ensure all connections are secure and free from leaks before and during operation.
  • Do not point the hose or nozzle at yourself or others during operation.
  • Keep hands and fingers clear of moving parts.
  • Store the pump in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
  • Regularly inspect the pump for any signs of damage or wear. Do not use if damaged.
  • Always relieve pressure from the pump and hose after use.

3. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present in your package:

4. Setup

  1. Assemble the Pump: Attach the handle to the pump body and secure it with the provided screws. Ensure the footboard is properly unfolded and stable.
  2. Connect the Hose: Connect the high-pressure hose to the pump's outlet. Ensure the 1/8 BSP female thread is securely tightened.
  3. Install Oil-Moisture Filter: If not pre-installed, attach the oil-moisture filter to the hose connection point.
  4. Check Quick Connector: Verify that the sealing ring within the 8mm female quick connector is properly seated and not damaged. Replace if necessary with a spare part.

  1. Perform Air Tightness Test: Before connecting to your device, inflate the pump a few times. Maintain the pump's posture and observe the pressure gauge. If the pointer remains stable for a period, the air tightness is good. If the pressure drops, check all four connections for tightness.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Connect to Device: Connect the 8mm female quick connector to the male fill probe of your air rifle or air pistol. Ensure a secure connection.
  2. Begin Pumping: Place your feet firmly on the footboard. Grip the handle and begin pumping with smooth, consistent strokes. Use your body weight to assist in the downward stroke.
  3. Monitor Pressure: Continuously monitor the pressure gauge on the pump. Stop pumping once the desired pressure for your device is reached, ensuring not to exceed its maximum pressure rating.
  4. Relieve Pressure: After reaching the desired pressure, disconnect the pump from your device. Before storing, vent any remaining pressure from the pump and hose by opening the air release valve. This prevents damage to the pump and maintains its seals.

Important: Do not bend the hose excessively during use. Avoid crashing or dropping the pressure gauge.

6. Maintenance

  • Lubrication: Periodically lubricate the inner wall of the air pump. Inflate the pump approximately 30 times without connecting it to a device to distribute lubricant.
  • Seal Inspection: Regularly inspect all O-rings and seals for wear, cracks, or damage. Replace any worn seals immediately using the provided spare parts.
  • Moisture Filter: Check and replace the desiccant in the oil-moisture filter as needed to ensure efficient moisture removal.
  • Cleaning: Keep the exterior of the pump clean and free from dirt and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth.
