Maintenance

The clock is powered by 4 AA batteries. To ensure continuous operation and prevent loss of settings, it is recommended to replace the batteries every 3-6 months, or when the display starts to dim. Use high-quality alkaline batteries (e.g., Energizer Alkaline) for best performance. Avoid using low-quality or rechargeable batteries that may not provide stable power.
To replace batteries:
- Carefully remove the clock from the wall.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock (Figure 4).
- Open the compartment cover and remove the old batteries.
- Insert new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
- Re-hang the clock. You may need to verify time and settings after battery replacement.
2. Cleaning
To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly onto the clock, as this may damage the finish or internal components.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Clock not turning on / display blank. | Dead or improperly installed batteries. No USB-C power. | Replace batteries with new ones, ensuring correct polarity. Connect a USB-C power source. |

| Azan sound is too low or not playing. | Volume is set too low. Azan sound is disabled. | Adjust the Azan Volume Switch on the back of the clock. Ensure Azan sound is enabled in settings. |
