4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Ensure the radio is powered off.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
  3. Slide the battery lock to the unlock position.
  4. Insert the Li-ion battery into the compartment, ensuring the contacts align.
  5. Slide the battery lock to the lock position to secure the battery.

4.2 Charging the Battery

The Retevis RB67 radios feature convenient USB-C charging. Use the provided USB-C cable and adapter to charge the radios.

  1. Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the side of the radio.

Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) keys to navigate through the available channels. The selected channel number will be displayed on the LCD screen.

  1. To transmit, press and hold the Push-to-Talk (PTT) button on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone.
  2. Release the PTT button to stop transmitting and return to receive mode.
  3. Ensure all radios are on the same channel and privacy codes (CTCSS/DCS) to communicate effectively.

5.4 Volume Adjustment

Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) keys to adjust the speaker volume. The volume level will be indicated on the display.
