1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance. Retain this manual for future reference.

3. Setup and First Use

3.1 Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the OTG and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Remove any protective films or stickers from the appliance.
  3. Place the OTG on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10-15 cm of space on all sides for proper ventilation.

3.2 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. Wash the bake pan and oven rack with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.

3.3 First Use (Burn-Off)

It is normal for a new oven to produce a slight odor or smoke during its first use. This is due to the burning off of protective coatings on the heating elements and is not a defect.

  1. Plug the oven into a grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Set the timer to 15 minutes and allow the oven to operate empty at its maximum temperature (205°C).
  3. Ensure the area is well-ventilated during this process.
  4. After 15 minutes, the oven will automatically shut off. Allow it to cool completely before using it for cooking.

4. Operating Instructions

The Lifelong LLOT09 features simple knob controls for power and timer settings.

4.1 Power On/Off

  • To turn on the oven, rotate the timer knob to the desired cooking time. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  • The oven will automatically turn off once the timer reaches zero, indicated by a bell sound.
  • To manually turn off the oven before the timer expires, rotate the timer knob back to the '0' position.

4.2 Setting the Timer

  • The timer can be set for up to 30 minutes.
  • Rotate the timer knob clockwise to select the desired cooking duration.
  • The oven operates at a constant temperature of 205°C.

4.3 Cooking Guide

Refer to the cooking guide printed on the appliance for approximate cooking times for common items:

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your OTG.

5.1 General Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the oven from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  3. For the interior, wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid getting water on the heating elements.
  4. The bake pan and oven rack can be washed with warm, soapy water.
  5. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before plugging the oven back in.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Lifelong LLOT09 OTG, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Oven does not turn on:
    • Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
    • Ensure the timer knob is set to a cooking duration and not at '0'.
  • Odor or smoke during first use:
    • This is normal for new appliances due to protective coatings. Perform the 'First Use (Burn-Off)' procedure as described in Section 3.3. Ensure adequate ventilation.
  • Food not cooking evenly:
    • Ensure food items are placed centrally on the rack.
    • Preheat the oven for a few minutes before placing food inside.
    • For larger items, rotate the food halfway through the cooking cycle.
  • Timer not working:
    • Ensure the timer knob is rotated past the '0' mark to engage the timer mechanism.
