2. Setup

Charging the Lights

Before first use, fully charge each light. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the light and to a standard USB power source. The indicator light will be red during charging and turn green when fully charged. A full charge typically takes 2.5 hours.

Installation Methods

The EZVALO lights offer two primary installation methods: magnetic attachment for metal surfaces and adhesive magnetic strips for non-metal surfaces.

1. Direct Magnetic Attachment: For magnetic metal surfaces (e.g., refrigerators, metal shelves), the lights can be directly attached using their built-in magnets.
2. Adhesive Magnetic Strips: For non-metal surfaces (e.g., wood cabinets, walls), use the provided adhesive iron sheets.

• Clean the surface thoroughly to ensure it is free of dust, oil, and moisture.
• Peel off the protective film from the adhesive side of the iron sheet.
• Firmly press the iron sheet onto the desired installation spot for at least 5 seconds.
• Attach the light to the installed iron sheet. The light will magnetically snap into place.

Installation Tips

• Maintain a distance of more than 20 inches between lights for optimal motion sensor performance.
• Avoid placing lights too close together or facing each other, as this may interfere with motion detection.
• Do not install lights directly on concave/convex or rough surfaces.
• Ensure the adhesive is applied in a cool place and avoid direct sunlight for best adhesion.

3. Operating Instructions

Power Modes

Each light features a switch with three positions: ON, OFF, and AUTO.

• ON (Always On Mode): The light remains continuously illuminated until manually turned off or the battery is depleted. Ideal for tasks requiring constant light.
• OFF: The light is turned off.
• AUTO (Motion Sensor Mode): The light will automatically turn on when motion is detected within 10 ft and a 120° field, and turn off after 20 seconds of no movement. This mode has two sub-settings:
• Night Motion Mode: Activates only in low-light environments.
• All-Day Motion Mode: Works any time motion is detected, regardless of ambient light.

Remote Control Functions

The included remote control allows for convenient adjustment of light settings from up to 16 ft away.

• ON/OFF: Turn lights on or off.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use the sun icons to increase or decrease brightness (10% to 100%). Press and hold for stepless dimming.
• Mode Selection: Switch between Day Mode (All-Day Motion), Night Mode (Night Motion), and ON (Always On Mode).
• Timer Settings: Set the lights to turn off automatically after 15, 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. The light will flash to confirm a successful timer setting.

Charging

The lights are equipped with a 2400mAh rechargeable battery. The charging indicator light is red when charging and green when fully charged. Ensure the lights are charged before their first use to maximize battery life.

Cleaning

To clean the lights, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish or electronic components.

3M Adhesive Precautions

• Clean the surface of stains, water stains, oil stains, and dust before applying the adhesive.
• Avoid repeated use of the tape. Once applied, press firmly for more than 5 seconds.
• Do not paste directly on concave/convex surfaces, rough surfaces, or human skin.
• The tape should be used and stored in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.

• Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Check the mode switch (ON/OFF/AUTO) is in the correct position.
• Motion sensor not working: Verify the light is in AUTO mode. Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the sensor. Check ambient light conditions if in Night Motion Mode. Ensure lights are not too close together or facing each other.
• Remote control not responding: Check the battery in the remote control. Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the light's sensor.
• Short battery life: Battery life varies based on usage frequency and brightness settings. Ensure the light is fully charged. Consider using motion sensor modes to conserve battery.
