2. Setup
2.1. What's in the Box

2.2. Charging the Device
Before initial use, fully charge your iON Elite watch. Connect the magnetic USB charging cable to the charging pins on the back of the watch and to a USB power source. A full charge typically provides up to 12 hours of battery life in Play Golf Mode or over 2 weeks in Watch Mode.

2.3. Initial Power On and Course Updates
Press and hold the main button to power on the watch. The iON Elite comes preloaded with over 38,000 worldwide courses. For automatic updates and course requests, connect the watch via Bluetooth to the Bushnell Golf Mobile App on your smartphone.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1. GPS Distances (Front/Center/Back & Slope)
The watch displays large, easy-to-read distances to the front, center, and back of the green. The iON Elite is the first watch to feature Bushnell Golf’s patented Slope Technology, providing play-as distances that account for the hole's incline or decline.

3.2. HoleView & Shot Planning
The HoleView screen allows you to view the layout of the hole. With Shot Planning enabled, you can get precise distances to any point on the hole by touching the screen.

3.3. GreenView with Movable Pin Placement
This feature allows you to see the shape of the green and adjust the pin location for heightened accuracy. Simply touch and drag the pin on the screen to its current position.

3.4. Hazard Distances
The watch provides distances to various hazards and layup points on each hole. You can get up to 6 hazard/layup distances per hole.
3.5. Scorekeeping
The iON Elite allows you to keep score for your rounds. You can track strokes, putts, fairways hit, and greens in regulation (GIR). The watch supports Stroke Play, Stableford, and Modified Stableford formats.
3.6. Shot Distance Calculator
Measure the distance of your shots. Tap the Shot Distance option, hit your shot, and walk to your ball. The watch will automatically calculate the distance traveled.

Access the settings menu to customize your watch preferences:
- Units: Switch between Yards and Meters for distance measurements.
- Score Mode: Choose between Off, Basic (strokes only), or Advanced (strokes, putts, fairways, GIR).
- Score Format: Select Stroke Play, Stableford, or Modified Stableford.
- Display: Adjust brightness and screen timeout settings.
- Notifications: Enable/disable pop-up notifications, call sounds, and text sounds from your connected smartphone.
- Language: Select your preferred language.
- Time: Set time format, time zone, and daylight savings.
- Bluetooth: Manage Bluetooth connectivity for pairing with the Bushnell Golf Mobile App.
- Alarm: Set up to five alarms.
- Auto Hole Advance: Enable or disable automatic advancement to the next hole.

5. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Bushnell iON Elite watch, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use the provided Wearable4U cloth to gently clean the watch face and body. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place when not in use.
