Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for optimal cleaning results:

1. Step 1: Remove Loose Dust with the Brush.
   Gently slide the red telescopic button to extend the soft brush. Use the brush to sweep away any loose dust, dirt, or debris from the optical surface. Avoid applying excessive pressure. Retract the brush after use by sliding the button back.

Maintenance

• Brush Cleaning: If the soft brush collects excessive dust or debris, it can be gently cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or by blowing air across it. Avoid using liquids on the brush.
• Carbon Head Care: The carbon cleaning heads are self-replenishing with cleaning compound. To refresh the carbon tip, gently twist it against a clean, dry surface (like a microfiber cloth) to expose fresh cleaning compound. Always keep the protective cap on the carbon head when not in use.
• Storage: Store the cleaning pen in a clean, dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

• Carbon Head Feels Loose/Wobbly: While the carbon head is designed to have some flexibility for optimal surface contact, excessive looseness may indicate wear. Ensure it is securely attached.
