3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly install your EUKI X11 Dash Cam.
3.1 Preparing the Micro SD Card
- Insert the included 64GB Micro SD card (Class 10 or higher recommended) into the dash cam's SD card slot.
- For optimal performance, format the Micro SD card before initial use. This can typically be done through the companion app after connecting to the dash cam.
3.2 Front Dash Cam Installation
- Choose a suitable location on your windshield, preferably behind the rearview mirror, to ensure an unobstructed view and minimal driver distraction.
- Clean the chosen area on the windshield thoroughly.
- Apply one of the electrostatic stickers to the cleaned area. This allows for easier removal of the adhesive mount if needed.
- Attach the 3M adhesive tape to the magnetic bracket, then firmly press the magnetic bracket onto the electrostatic sticker (or directly onto the windshield if not using the sticker). Hold for 30 seconds.
- Slide the front dash cam onto the magnetic bracket. The magnetic connection will secure it.
- Connect the car charger adapter to the dash cam's power input and route the cable along the windshield edge and down to your vehicle's 12V power outlet using the crowbar tool to tuck the cable neatly.

3.3 Rear Camera Installation
- Mount the rear camera on the rear windshield, ensuring a clear view. The rear camera cable connects to the main front dash cam unit.

The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's engine starts. It will power off automatically when the engine is turned off.

- Normal Recording (Loop Recording): The dash cam continuously records video in short segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the Micro SD card is full, the oldest unlocked footage will be overwritten by new recordings. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

When triggered, the current video segment is automatically locked and saved to a protected folder, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.
