Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
2. Open the battery cover.
3. Insert two CR2032 button batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -). One battery is typically pre-installed, and a spare is provided.
4. Close the battery cover securely.

2. Initial Power On

Once batteries are installed, the device will power on automatically and display current temperature, humidity, time, and date.

3. Setting Time and Date

Use the buttons on the back of the device to adjust settings:

• Press and hold the SET button to enter time/date setting mode.
• Use the + and - buttons to adjust the flashing value (e.g., hour, minute, year, month, day).
• Press SET again to confirm the current setting and move to the next value.
• Once all settings are complete, the device will exit setting mode automatically after a few seconds of inactivity, or you can press SET until it returns to normal display.

4. Temperature Unit Selection (°F/°C)

Press the + button on the back of the device to toggle between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C).

5. Time Format Selection (12h/24h)

Press the - button on the back of the device to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.

Operating Instructions

Reading the Display

The large LCD screen displays the following information:

• Temperature: Shown in large digits at the top left, in either °F or °C.
• Humidity: Shown in large digits at the top right, as a percentage (%).
• Comfort Level Indicator: A colored bar below the temperature and humidity readings indicates the current air comfort level:
  • DRY (Red): Humidity below 30%.
  • COMFORT (Green): Humidity between 30% and 69%.
  • WET (Blue): Humidity above 70%.
• Time: Displayed at the bottom left.
• Date: Displayed at the bottom right.

Sensor Refresh Rate

The internal sensor updates temperature and humidity readings every 10 seconds to provide current environmental data.

Placement Options

The VOCOO Digital Indoor Humidity Gauge Thermometer offers versatile placement options:

• Magnetic Attachment: The device features a strong built-in magnet on its back, allowing it to be securely attached to any metal surface, such as a refrigerator or metal cabinet.
• Desktop Stand: A foldable stand is integrated into the back of the device, enabling stable placement on a desk, shelf, or tabletop.
• Wall Mounting: Use the provided adhesive pad to mount the device on a non-metal wall or other flat surface. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying the adhesive pad. For optimal adhesion, allow 24 hours after applying the pad before placing the thermometer on it.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
• Battery Replacement: When the display dims or becomes erratic, replace the CR2032 batteries. Ensure correct polarity. Keep batteries away from children.
• Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store in a cool, dry place.
