Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present and undamaged. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.

Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean the stainless steel skirt and heating element with warm, soapy water. Wipe the top unit with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are dry before assembly.

Assembly

  1. Attach the sous vide machine to a suitable pot or container using the adjustable clamp. Ensure the clamp is securely tightened to prevent movement during operation.
  2. Fill the pot with water, ensuring the water level is between the MIN and MAX fill lines indicated on the sous vide machine.
  3. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

App Installation and WiFi Connection

Download the BLITZHOME app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

To connect to WiFi:

  1. Ensure your router is set to 2.4GHz frequency. The device does not support 5GHz networks.
  2. Open the BLITZHOME app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your device.
  3. The app will guide you through the pairing process, which typically involves pressing a button on the device to enter pairing mode.
  4. Once connected, you can control the sous vide machine remotely and access recipes.

Operating Instructions

Manual Operation

  1. Press the power button to turn on the device.
  2. Use the temperature setting button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
  3. Adjust the desired temperature using the "+" and "-" buttons.
  4. Set the cooking time using the timer button and the "+" and "-" buttons.
  5. Press the start button to begin heating the water. The LED light will turn red during heating.
  6. Once the target temperature is reached, the LED light will turn green, indicating insulation mode.
  7. Place your vacuum-sealed food into the water bath. Ensure the food is fully submerged.
  8. When cooking is complete, the LED light will turn blue, and an audio alert will sound.
  9. Carefully remove the food from the water bath.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Daily Cleaning

After each use, unplug the device and allow it to cool completely. Remove the stainless steel skirt by twisting it counter-clockwise. Clean the skirt and the heating element with warm, soapy water and a soft brush or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.

Wipe the main body of the circulator with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the top part of the device in water.

Descaling

Over time, mineral deposits may accumulate on the heating element, especially in areas with hard water. To descale:

  1. Fill a pot with water and add 1 cup of white vinegar for every gallon of water.
  2. Attach the sous vide machine and set the temperature to 140°F (60°C).
  3. Run the circulator for 30 minutes.
  4. Unplug, cool, and rinse the stainless steel parts thoroughly.

Storage

Store the BLITZHOME Sous Vide Machine in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure it is clean and completely dry before storage.

Troubleshooting
