4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation & Charging
- Insert the fully charged modular battery into the drone's battery compartment until it clicks into place.
- To charge, connect the USB charging cable to the battery and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The charging indicator will show charging status.
4.2. Remote Control Setup
- Install 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control.
- Mount your smartphone onto the remote control's phone holder.
4.3. App Installation & Connection
Download the official le-idea drone app from your device's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store). Search for "le-idea" or scan the QR code provided in the quick start guide.
- Power on the drone.
- Go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named "IDEA16-XXXXXX").
- Open the le-idea app. The app should automatically connect to the drone and display the live camera feed.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Pre-Flight Checklist
- Ensure drone and remote control batteries are fully charged.
- Check that propellers are securely attached and undamaged.
- Ensure the flight area is clear of obstacles, people, and animals.
- Perform compass calibration as instructed in the app or quick start guide.
5.2. Take-off and Landing
- One-Key Take-off: Place the drone on a flat, level surface. Press the One-Key Take-off button on the remote or in the app. The drone will automatically ascend and hover at a safe altitude.
- Manual Take-off: Push both joysticks down and outwards to start the motors. Slowly push the left joystick up to ascend.
- One-Key Landing: Press the One-Key Landing button. The drone will automatically descend and land.
- Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left joystick down to descend. Once landed, push both joysticks down and inwards to stop the motors.
5.3. Flight Controls
- Left Joystick (Throttle/Yaw): Up/Down to control altitude; Left/Right to rotate the drone.
- Right Joystick (Pitch/Roll): Up/Down to move forward/backward; Left/Right to move left/right.
- Speed Mode: Use the speed button on the remote to cycle through low, medium, and high speeds.
- Headless Mode: Activates a mode where the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, simplifying control regardless of the drone's front direction.
- Trajectory Flight: Draw a flight path on your smartphone screen within the app, and the drone will follow the specified route.
- 3D Flip: Press the 3D flip button and move the right joystick in the desired direction to perform an aerial flip.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
- Wipe the drone and remote control with a clean, dry, soft cloth after each use.
- Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure no dust or debris accumulates in the motor areas or camera lens.
6.2. Propeller Care
- Inspect propellers for cracks or damage before each flight. Replace any damaged propellers immediately using the provided screwdriver and spare blades.
- Ensure propellers are installed correctly (A and B types match the motor arms).
6.3. Battery Storage
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- For long-term storage, charge batteries to approximately 50% to prolong their lifespan.
