1. Introduction

2. Key Features

• Anti-Wobble & Anti-Theft Design: Features a key locking device for wobble-free installation into a 2-inch hitch receiver, providing enhanced security.
• Smart Tilting & Folding Design: The tilting function allows convenient access to your vehicle's rear cargo area even with bikes loaded. The rack can also be folded up when not in use for compact storage.
• Anti-Scratch Protection: Equipped with soft locking frame clamps and cradles with gear locking straps to secure bicycles without damaging their paintwork. Includes a safety strap for added protection during transport.

3. Parts List

Before beginning assembly, ensure all parts listed below are present and undamaged. Refer to the installation videos for visual identification of each component.

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps carefully to assemble and install your WEIZE 2 E-Bike Rack. For visual guidance, please refer to the installation videos provided below.

4.1 Assembly Steps

1. Connect the Folding Bracket (Part 1) to the Connecting Bracket (Part 17). Align the holes and secure them using the appropriate screws (Part 13) and the Safety Pin (Part 3).
2. Insert the Horizontal Tubes (Part 5) into the Connecting Bracket (Part 17) on both sides. Match the holes and tighten them with screws (Part 10).
3. Insert the Vertical Tube (Part 4) into the Connecting Bracket (Part 17). Match the hole and tighten with screws (Part 12).
4. Install the Straps (Part 16) onto the Support Brackets (Part 8 & Part 9).
5. Attach two pieces of Clamping Covers (Part 14) on each Horizontal Tube (Part 5). Then, insert the Support Brackets (Part 8 & Part 9) into the groove on the Clamping Covers (Part 14) and tighten them with screws (Part 11).
6. Slide the long Lock Hook (Part 7) and then the short Lock Hook (Part 6) into the Vertical Tube (Part 4). Adjust the hooks to your desired height position and lock them to secure in place.

4.2 Installation on Vehicle

Once assembled, insert the rack into your vehicle's 2-inch hitch receiver. Use the anti-wobble and anti-theft locking mechanism to secure the rack firmly in place.

5.1 Loading Bicycles

1. Place the bicycle wheels into the designated wheel cradles on the horizontal tubes.
2. Secure the wheels using the provided straps (Part 16) to prevent movement.
3. Lower the appropriate Lock Hook (Part 6 or 7) over the bicycle frame and tighten the Lock Knob (Part 11) to firmly hold the bike in place. Ensure the frame clamps are soft to prevent scratches.
4. Use the Tie Down Strap (Part 15) to further secure the bikes to the rack, especially for longer trips or rough terrain.

5.2 Tilting Function

To access your vehicle's rear cargo area, the rack can be tilted. Locate the tilting mechanism near the hitch receiver. Follow the instructions on the mechanism to release the lock and tilt the rack downwards. Ensure bikes are securely fastened before tilting.

5.3 Folding Function

When not in use, the rack can be folded up against the vehicle for a more compact profile. Locate the folding release mechanism and follow the instructions to fold the rack upwards. Ensure it locks securely in the folded position.

• Cleanliness: Regularly clean the rack with mild soap and water, especially after exposure to dirt, salt, or harsh weather conditions. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely to prevent rust.
• Lubrication: Periodically lubricate moving parts such as hinges, pins, and locking mechanisms with a silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation and prevent corrosion.
• Inspect Fasteners: Before each use, check all bolts, nuts, and straps to ensure they are tight and secure. Re-tighten any loose fasteners.
• Check Straps and Cradles: Inspect the wheel straps and frame clamps for any signs of wear, tears, or damage. Replace them if necessary to maintain secure bike transport.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the bike rack in a dry, protected area to prevent exposure to extreme weather.
