Setup and Installation
Your Emerson microwave oven is designed for countertop installation. Follow these steps for proper setup:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories. Inspect the oven for any damage such as dents or a broken door. Do not install if the oven is damaged.
- Placement: Place the microwave on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight. Ensure there is adequate space for ventilation around the unit. The dimensions are approximately 20.4 inches (W) x 15.7 inches (D) x 12.8 inches (H).
- Turntable Installation: Place the roller ring in the center of the oven cavity. Position the glass turntable securely on top of the roller ring. Ensure it rotates freely.
- Power Connection: Plug the microwave into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Basic Microwave Cooking
- Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
- Close the oven door.
- Enter desired cooking time using the number pads. The digital timer supports up to 99 minutes and 99 seconds.
- Press the 'Start/+30SEC' button to begin cooking.
- To adjust power level, press the 'Power' button and then select a number from 1-10 (10 being 100% power).

Care and Maintenance

- Interior Cleaning: Clean the oven cavity after each use with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, boil a cup of water with lemon slices inside the microwave for a few minutes to loosen residue, then wipe clean.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces, including the stainless steel front and black cabinet, with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
