Setup

1. Initial Cleaning

Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues. Hand wash only.

2. Placing the Kettle on the Base

Place the temperature-controlled power base on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a 120V AC 60Hz outlet. Carefully place the kettle onto the power base, ensuring it is seated correctly.

3. Filling with Water

Remove the lid by pulling it upwards. Fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the MIN line or above the MAX line indicated inside the kettle. Replace the lid securely.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On

Short press the "START" button (the knob) for 1 second to power on the kettle. The display screen will fully illuminate to confirm normal operation. The kettle will enter "HOLD" mode by default.

2. Temperature Adjustment

Turn the knob to adjust the desired water temperature. The stylish HD LED screen will display the current and set temperatures. Press the knob to start boiling water. The heating icon will be displayed.

3. Switching Temperature Units (°F/°C)

Short press the "°F/°C" button to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature units.

4. Temperature Hold & Auto Shut-Off

The kettle features a temperature retention function. Once the water reaches the set temperature, the kettle will stop heating, and the heat preservation icon will start to flash. The kettle will enter "HOLD" mode for up to 60 minutes. After 60 minutes of unattended operation, the kettle will auto-shut off for safety and convenience.

5. Brew Timer

Short press the "TIMER" button. The timer will start counting after 3 seconds, allowing you to precisely time your brewing process.

6. Mute Mode

Long press the "HOLD" button for 3 seconds to turn on the "Mute" mode. A mute icon will appear on the screen. Long press "HOLD" for 3 seconds again to turn off the "Mute" mode. The mute icon will disappear, and there will be a beep sound.

7. Pour-Over Control

The finely crafted 6.8mm gooseneck spout design ensures an optimal water flow, making pour-over brewing easy and precise, even for beginners.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. The kettle body and lid should be hand washed only. Do not immerse the power base in water or any other liquid.

2. Descaling (Removing Limescale)

Limescale may form on the bottom of the kettle during the boiling process, especially if the water is not completely filtered of calcium and magnesium metal ions. Limescale will not form if only pure or distilled water is heated. Water quality varies by geography, as does hardness and scale generation.

1. Add a certain amount of white vinegar or citric acid to the kettle.
2. Boil the solution and let it soak for 30 minutes.
3. Clean the kettle thoroughly and wipe it with a soft rag.

The frequency of descaling is determined by usage and water hardness.
