1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your TECNO Spark 10 5G smartphone. 4. Setup

4.1. Inserting SIM and SD Card

1. Locate the SIM tray on the side of your device.
2. Insert the provided SIM ejector tool into the small hole on the SIM tray. Press gently until the tray pops out.
3. Place your Nano-SIM card(s) and/or microSD card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts face downwards.
4. Carefully reinsert the SIM tray into the phone until it clicks into place.

4.2. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge your TECNO Spark 10 5G. Connect the Type-C cable to the phone's charging port (Figure 3.4) and the 18W power adapter. Plug the adapter into a power outlet. The device supports 18W flash charging, allowing for a 50% charge in approximately 50 minutes.

4.3. Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (Figure 3.3) until the TECNO logo appears.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button, then select 'Power off' from the options on the screen.
• To Restart: Press and hold the Power button, then select 'Restart' from the options.

4.4. Initial Setup Wizard

Upon first power-on, follow the on-screen instructions to configure basic settings such as language, Wi-Fi connection, Google account, and security options.

5.1. Display and Navigation

The TECNO Spark 10 5G features a 6.56-inch HD+ Perfect Dot display with a 90Hz refresh rate. This provides smoother scrolling and more fluid animations. Navigate the interface using touch gestures: tap to select, swipe to scroll, pinch to zoom.

5.2. Camera Usage

The device is equipped with an Ultra Clear 50MP superior AI rear camera (Figure 3.2). Open the Camera application to access various modes such as Photo, Video, Portrait, and Super Night. The 50MP sensor with F1.6 larger aperture and PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) is designed to capture high-quality images in diverse lighting conditions, including vivid and clear Super Night shots with RAW domain noise reduction algorithm.

5.3. Performance and Storage

Powered by a 7nm Dimensity 6020 processor with two Arm Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz, the phone offers efficient performance. It includes 4GB of physical RAM, expandable with up to 4GB of customizable memory fusion RAM for enhanced multitasking. The UFS 2.2 internal storage provides up to 64GB of space, further expandable via a dedicated 1TB SD card slot.

5.4. Battery Management

The 5000mAh battery provides extended usage, with up to 39 days of standby time. To optimize battery life, manage background applications, reduce screen brightness, and enable power-saving modes when necessary.
