Setup
1. Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the UCOM7 unit. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the intercom unit and to a standard USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the charging status and turn off when fully charged.
2. Mounting the Intercom Unit
The UCOM7 can be mounted to your helmet using the included mounting bracket. Choose a suitable location on the side of your helmet, ensuring it does not obstruct your vision or helmet functionality.
- Adhesive Mount: Clean the helmet surface thoroughly. Attach the adhesive pad to the mounting bracket, then firmly press the bracket onto the helmet. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to cure before use.
- Clamp Mount: Slide the clamp mount between the helmet shell and the inner padding. Secure it tightly using the provided screws or clips.

3. Installing Speakers and Microphone
Position the speakers inside your helmet, aligning them with your ears for optimal sound. Use the provided Velcro pads to secure them. Connect the speaker and microphone cables to the appropriate ports on the UCOM7 main unit. Choose between the boom microphone (for open-face helmets) or the wired microphone (for full-face helmets).

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the main power button until the LED indicator illuminates.
- Power Off: Press and hold the main power button until the LED indicator turns off.
2. Bluetooth Pairing with Mobile Device/GPS
- Ensure the UCOM7 is powered off.
- Press and hold the main power button for approximately 5-7 seconds until the LED flashes red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
- On your mobile phone or GPS device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Interphone UCOM7" from the list. If prompted, enter the PIN "0000".
- Once paired, the LED will flash blue periodically.
3. Intercom Communication
The UCOM7 supports communication with up to 4 riders over a distance of up to 1km, utilizing Mesh 2.0 technology for reliable group connections.
- Pairing with other UCOM7 units: Follow the specific pairing instructions in the detailed manual for multi-unit pairing.
- Initiating Intercom Call: Press the intercom button once to start a conversation with a paired unit.
- Ending Intercom Call: Press the intercom button once again.
4. Music and GPS Navigation
Once paired with your mobile device or GPS, you can stream music or receive navigation instructions through the UCOM7 speakers. The system allows for communication between intercoms even with background music or GPS audio active.
5. Volume Control and Call Management
- Volume Up/Down: Use the dedicated volume buttons on the unit.
- Answer Call: Press the phone button once.
- End Call: Press the phone button once during a call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the phone button for 2 seconds.
