3. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your DCOLOR Digital Converter Box:
- Connect HDMI: Plug the HDMI cable from the converter box into an available HDMI port on your TV, monitor, or projector.
- Connect Power: Connect the USB to DC cable to the converter box's power input. Plug the USB end into a 5V USB port on your TV or use a USB wall adapter (not included).
- Connect IR Receiver: Plug the IR receiver cable into the designated port on the converter box. Position the IR receiver in a location where it can receive signals from your remote control, typically near the front of your TV.
- Connect Antenna: Connect your digital TV antenna to the Antenna Input (5) on the converter box. Ensure your antenna is properly positioned for optimal signal reception.
- Initial Setup & Channel Scan:
- Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input source.
- The converter box should display an initial setup screen. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your OSD Language and Country.
- Initiate an "Auto Search" or "Channel Search" to scan for available over-the-air channels. This process may take several minutes.
- Once the scan is complete, you should be able to view available channels.

DVR and Media Playback:
To use the DVR function, connect a USB drive (not included) to the USB 2.0 Input (2) on the converter box. You can record live TV or schedule recordings via the EPG or Timer function.
- Instant Recording: Press the REC button during live TV to start recording. Press again to stop.
- Scheduled Recording: Use the EPG or TIMER button to set specific times and channels for recording.
- Playback: Press the PVR button to access your recorded files. You can also play back various media files (music, photos, movies) stored on the USB drive.
