3. Setup
3.1 Mounting the Light
- Attach the Amaran 300C to a light stand using the integrated mounting bracket. Ensure the stand is stable and capable of supporting the weight of the light and any attached accessories.
- Tighten the locking knob on the mounting bracket to secure the light in place.
- Adjust the tilt angle of the light as needed and tighten the tilt locking knob.
3.2 Attaching Accessories (Bowens Mount)

The Amaran 300C features a standard Bowens mount, allowing you to attach a variety of light modifiers such as reflectors, softboxes, and snoots.
- Align the accessory's Bowens mount with the light's mount.
- Insert the accessory and rotate it clockwise until it clicks into place, indicating it is securely locked.
- To remove, press the release button on the light's mount and rotate the accessory counter-clockwise.
3.3 Power Connection

- Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN 48V port on the light fixture.

4. Operation

- Display Screen: Shows current settings such as intensity, CCT, HSI values, and FX mode.
4.2 Lighting Modes
Press the Lighting Mode button to switch between the following modes:
- CCT Mode:
Allows adjustment of color temperature from 2500K (warm tungsten) to 7500K (cool daylight). Use the CCT/G/M knob to change the color temperature. Press the CCT/G/M knob to toggle between CCT and Green/Magenta adjustment.
- HSI Mode:
Provides full control over Hue, Saturation, and Intensity. Use the HUE/SAT knob to adjust the hue (360°) and saturation. Press the HUE/SAT knob to toggle between Hue and Saturation adjustment.
- FX Mode (Special Effects):
Offers 9 built-in lighting effects to simulate various scenarios. Use the CCT/G/M or HUE/SAT knobs to select and adjust parameters for each effect.

4.3 Brightness Adjustment

- Download the "Sidus Link" app from your device's app store (iOS/Android).
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Power on the Amaran 300C.
- Open the Sidus Link app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Amaran 300C. The app will automatically detect nearby Aputure devices.
- Once connected, you can adjust intensity, color temperature, hue, saturation, and trigger special effects directly from your phone or tablet.
