1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, assembly, and maintenance of your KETELES Dual Motor Electric Bike, Model K800. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference.

The KETELES K800 is a high-performance electric bicycle designed for adults, featuring dual motors, fat tires, and multiple riding modes suitable for various terrains.

2. Safety Information

Always prioritize safety when operating the electric bike. Failure to follow safety guidelines can result in serious injury or damage to the product.

3. Package Contents

Upon opening the package, verify that all components are present and undamaged. If any items are missing or damaged, contact customer support immediately.

4. Setup and Assembly

The KETELES K800 electric bike is 85% pre-assembled. The following steps outline the final assembly process. It is recommended to have basic mechanical ability or seek professional assistance if unsure.

4.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the bike and all components from the packaging. Inspect for any visible damage during transit.

4.2 Handlebar Installation

Attach the handlebar to the stem, ensuring all cables are routed correctly and not pinched. Tighten the bolts securely.

4.3 Front Wheel Installation

Install the front wheel, ensuring the disc brake rotor aligns correctly with the caliper. Secure the quick-release skewer or axle nuts firmly.

4.4 Pedal Installation

Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread them into the corresponding crank arms. Note that the left pedal has a reverse thread. Tighten firmly with a wrench.

4.5 Seat Post and Saddle Adjustment

Insert the seat post into the frame and adjust the saddle height to a comfortable riding position. Ensure the minimum insertion mark on the seat post is not visible. Tighten the quick-release clamp or bolt.

4.6 Battery Installation and Charging

Insert the removable 48V 23AH battery into its compartment on the frame. Lock it securely with the provided key. Before first use, fully charge the battery. A full charge typically takes 7-9 hours.

4.7 Rear Rack Assembly (if applicable)

If your model includes a rear rack, attach it according to the provided instructions. This step may require additional effort for proper alignment and secure fastening.

5.1 Powering On/Off

5.3 Riding Modes

The K800 offers 5 versatile riding modes:

  1. Dual-Motor Pure Electric Mode: Utilizes both 2000W peak motors for maximum power and speed without pedaling.
  2. Single-Motor Pure Electric Mode: Uses one motor for electric propulsion without pedaling, conserving battery.
  3. Power-Assisted Mode (PAS): Provides electric assistance as you pedal. Adjust the assist level (1-5) via the display controls.
  4. Walking Mode: Provides low-speed assistance for pushing the bike while walking.
  5. Cruise Mode: Maintains a set speed without continuous throttle input.

An adjustable switch on the handlebar allows switching between single-motor or dual-motor operation.

5.4 Gear Shifting

The 21-speed transmission allows you to select appropriate gears for different terrains and riding conditions. Use the shift levers on the handlebar to change gears smoothly.

The K800 is equipped with front and rear hydraulic disc brakes for reliable stopping power. Apply both brakes simultaneously for optimal control. The braking system includes a motor cut-off feature for added safety.

5.6 Lighting System

The bike features a 2-in-1 running light and brake tail light. The headlight provides a bright, flat beam that can be adjusted to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. The tail light illuminates when the headlight is on and brightens upon braking.
