3. Setup
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, charge the unit for 4 hours. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 4 weeks of use from a single charge. Use the included USB-C to USB-A cable to charge via a laptop, car, or wall adapter (adapter not included).

3.2 Attaching a Tip
Select the desired water flossing tip. Insert the tip into the center of the handle until it clicks into place. To remove a tip, press the eject button on the side of the handle.
3.3 Filling the Reservoir
The unit features a removable 6-ounce reservoir. To fill, open the flip-top cap on the reservoir and fill with warm water. The reservoir is top-rack dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 General Use Directions
- Fill the reservoir with warm water and click the tip into the handle.
- Lean over a sink and place the tip in your mouth.
- Turn the unit ON. For first-time users, start at the lowest pressure setting and gradually increase over time.
- Aim the tip along the gumline at a 90-degree angle, pausing briefly between teeth.
- Close your lips enough to prevent splashing while allowing water to flow from your mouth into the sink.
- Floss inside and outside of upper and lower teeth.
- When finished, empty any remaining water from the reservoir.

4.2 Pressure Settings
The Waterpik Cordless Slide Professional offers 3 pressure settings (50-80 PSI) to customize your cleaning experience. Adjust the pressure according to your comfort and dental needs.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Reservoir
The 6-ounce reservoir is removable and top-rack dishwasher safe for easy and thorough cleaning. Ensure the reservoir is completely dry before reattaching.

Wipe the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water. Periodically clean the tips with warm, soapy water.
