Setup

1. Mounting the Light

The CR1000 comes with a rubber strap mount designed to fit handlebars with a diameter of 22.2mm to 35mm. Ensure the mount is securely fastened to prevent movement during your ride.

  1. Place the rubber strap mount on your handlebar at the desired position.
  2. Wrap the rubber strap around the handlebar and hook it into the appropriate slot on the mount, ensuring a tight fit.
  3. Slide the CR1000 bike light onto the mount until it clicks into place. Ensure it is firmly seated.

3. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the CR1000. The light comes with a built-in, non-removable rechargeable battery. Use the provided USB cable to connect the light to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The power indicator on the light will show charging status.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

To turn the light on or off, press and hold the main button on the light unit.

2. Changing Brightness Levels and Modes

Once the light is on, a single click of the main button on the light itself will cycle through the brightness levels: High, Mid, Low, Eco. The light will remember the last setting when powered off/on.

The CR1000 also features Pulse Flashing and Rapid Flashing modes for increased visibility. These modes can be accessed by continuing to cycle through the brightness levels.

For signaling or emergencies, long press the main button to activate the maximum output Emergency mode. Release the button to return to the previous brightness level.

3. Wired Remote Functionality

The wired remote allows you to change brightness levels safely without releasing your grip from the handlebars. When the light is on, a single click on the remote button will cycle through the brightness modes. A long press on the remote will activate Emergency mode. Note that the remote does not support turning the light on or off; this must be done via the main button on the light unit.

4. T-Shaped Anti-Glare Beam

The CR1000 features a second-generation RAVEMEN anti-glare lens that creates a T-shaped beam. This design provides a close-range flood light and a long-distance spotlight, illuminating your path effectively while reducing glare for oncoming road users.

Maintenance

1. Charging the Battery

The CR1000 is USB-C rechargeable. Connect the provided USB cable to the light's charging port and a suitable USB power source. The power indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge ensures maximum run time.

2. Water Resistance

The CR1000 features an IPX6 waterproof rating, making it ready for extreme weather and riding situations, including muddy roads, foggy days, or heavy downpours. While it is highly water-resistant, avoid submerging the light in water for extended periods.

3. Cleaning

To clean the light, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the housing or lens.

4. Storage

When storing the light for extended periods, ensure it is fully charged and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge the battery every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.

Troubleshooting

  • Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the light to a power source and check if the charging indicator illuminates.
  • Light not holding a charge: Verify that the charging cable and power source are functioning correctly. If the issue persists, the battery may require service.
  • Wired remote not responding: Check that the remote is securely plugged into the light's USB-B port. Ensure the light unit itself is powered on, as the remote only changes modes when the light is active.
  • Beam pattern appears incorrect: If you are using an upside-down mount, ensure the lens has been flipped to maintain the correct T-pattern orientation.
