1. Introduction

This user manual provides comprehensive instructions for the operation and maintenance of your Lefant Remote Control. This remote control is designed for use with various Lefant robot vacuum cleaner models, including M210, M210B, M210 Pro, M213, M213S, N1, P1, F1, M501B, and U180. Please read this manual carefully before using the remote control to ensure proper function and longevity.

The Lefant Remote Control allows you to conveniently manage your robot vacuum cleaner's functions from a distance. It features a clear display and intuitive buttons for various cleaning modes, scheduling, and manual control.

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) for operation.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide open the battery cover.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

Note: Always use new batteries and dispose of old batteries responsibly.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Remote Control Functions

4.2 How to Use the Remote Control

The remote control offers various cleaning patterns and functions:

  • Start/Pause Cleaning: Press the START/PAUSE button to begin or temporarily stop the cleaning cycle. This mode is optimized for hard floors.
  • Automatic Return and Charge: Press the Return to Charger button to send the robot back to its charging station.
  • Remote Control Direction: Use the Direction Control buttons to manually steer the robot. These arrow buttons are applicable in Standby mode, Automatic return and charge mode, Random cleaning mode, and Edge cleaning mode (left and right keys only).
  • Random Cleaning: Activates a random cleaning pattern, optimized for carpeted areas.
  • Edge Cleaning: Directs the robot to clean along the perimeter of rooms.
  • Fixed Point Cleaning: Initiates a spiral cleaning pattern for concentrated cleaning in a specific spot.

4.3 Setting the Current Time

  1. Press the Set Current Time Button (clock icon).
  2. Use the Direction Control buttons (Up/Down) to select 'Week', 'Hour', or 'Minute'. Use Left/Right to adjust the value.
  3. Press the START/PAUSE Button to confirm the setting. The robot will beep, indicating successful time setting.

4.4 Setting Cleaning Appointments (Schedules)

  1. Press the Time Scheduling Button (appointment icon).
  2. Use the Direction Control buttons (Up/Down) to select 'Week', 'Hour', or 'Minute'. Use Left/Right to adjust the value for your desired schedule.
  3. Press the START/PAUSE Button to confirm the schedule. The robot will beep, indicating successful schedule setting.

Important Notes:

  • The remote control scheduled time and the mobile APP scheduled time do not interfere with each other.
  • If the robot is restarted or the remote control's battery is replaced, you will need to reset the time and schedule the cleaning plan.
  • When using the remote control to set the time or make an appointment for cleaning, ensure that the robot vacuum cleaner is turned on, and bring the remote control close to and aim it at the robot.
  • The remote control operates in 24-hour format.

4.5 Canceling Cleaning Appointments

  • To cancel a single scheduled cleaning plan: Press the Time Scheduling Button, set the time to 00:00, then use the Direction Control (Down) button, and finally press the START/PAUSE Button. The robot will beep and successfully cancel the specified scheduled time.
  • To cancel all scheduled cleaning plans: Long press the Time Scheduling Button for 3 seconds. The robot will beep and successfully cancel all scheduled plans.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

When the remote control's display becomes dim or the robot does not respond to commands, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in Section 3.1 Battery Installation to replace the 2 AAA batteries.

5.2 Cleaning the Remote Control

Wipe the surface of the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the remote control in water.

6. Troubleshooting
