  • Ensure the blanket is used on a flat surface and not draped over the sides of the bed in a way that could pinch or damage the heating wires.
  • This appliance is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
  • Do not dry clean this product. Cleaning solvents may damage the insulation of the heating element.
  • Store the blanket loosely folded in its original packaging in a cool, dry place when not in use.

4. Setup Instructions

  2. Placement: Lay the blanket flat on your bed. Ensure there are no folds, creases, or bunched areas. The connectors for the control units should be positioned near the head of the bed for easy access.

  • TEMP+ / TEMP- Buttons: Adjust the heating level from 1 to 10.

5.2 Basic Operation

  1. Turn On: Press the Power button on your control unit. The display will illuminate.
  2. Set Heat Level: Use the TEMP+ or TEMP- buttons to select your desired heat level (1-10). Level 1 is the lowest heat, and Level 10 is the highest.
  3. Set Timer: Use the TIME+ or TIME- buttons to set the desired operating time (1-10 hours). The blanket will automatically turn off after the set time. The default auto shut-off is 8 hours if no timer is set.
  4. Preheat Function: For faster warming, press the PREHEAT button. The blanket will quickly reach a comfortable temperature.
  5. Turn Off: Press the Power button again to turn off the blanket. Always unplug the blanket from the wall outlet when not in use.

6. Maintenance and Care

Proper care ensures the longevity and safe operation of your electric blanket.

6.1 Before Cleaning

  • Always unplug the blanket from the wall outlet.
  • Disconnect the control unit(s) from the blanket.
  • Ensure the blanket is completely cool before handling.

6.2 Machine Washing

  1. Pre-soak the blanket for 15 minutes in mild soap and lukewarm water.
  2. Wash on the "delicate" or "gentle" cycle for 2 minutes.
  3. Rinse thoroughly on the "slow spin" cycle.
  4. Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals.
  5. Do not dry clean.

6.3 Drying

  • Line Drying: Drape the blanket over a clothesline or shower rod. Do not use clothespins that could pinch the wires.
  • Tumble Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting for 5-10 minutes. Remove while still damp and air dry completely. Do not iron.
  • Ensure the blanket is completely dry before reconnecting the control unit(s) and plugging it back into the power outlet.

6.4 Storage

When not in use, store the blanket loosely folded in its original bag or a breathable container. Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heavy objects that could crease the heating wires.
