Assembly is designed to be straightforward using the buckle connection method. Two people are recommended for easier and faster setup.
4.1 Prepare the Site
- Choose a level, clear area for the shed. Ensure adequate space around the shed for assembly and access.
- Clear any debris, rocks, or sharp objects that could damage the tarp.
4.2 Frame Assembly
- Connect Columns: Begin by connecting the thick columns (Stand Columns) to form the vertical supports of the frame.

- Attach Bottom Beams: Connect the Bottom Beams to the vertical columns.
- Raise the Frame: With assistance, carefully raise the assembled frame to its upright position.
- Secure Base Plates: Attach the Base Plates to the bottom of each vertical column.

4.3 Cover Installation
- Drape Main Cover: Carefully drape the main shed cover over the assembled frame. Ensure it is centered and evenly distributed. A short ladder and a helper may be needed.
- Secure with Elastic Balls: Use the provided elastic balls to secure the cover to the frame at designated points.
- Install Front and Back Panels: Attach the front (zippered door) and back panels to the frame using the bungee straps or elastic ties.
4.4 Anchoring the Shed
- Ground Nails: Drive the L-shaped Ground Nails through the Base Plates into the ground to secure the shed.
- Windbreak Nails and Ropes: For added stability, especially in windy conditions, use the Windbreak Nails and Nylon Ropes to anchor the shed further.
- Extended Tarp Cover: The 15 cm extended mopping cover should be weighted down with heavy objects (e.g., sandbags, not included) to provide extra stability.

5.2 Ventilation
- The shed includes ventilated windows to promote air circulation. This helps prevent moisture and dew buildup inside, keeping your stored items dry.
- Ensure windows are clear of obstructions for optimal airflow.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the lifespan of your portable shed.
- Cleaning: Clean the tarp cover periodically with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the material. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before closing the shed for extended periods.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the frame for any signs of rust, bending, or damage. Check the tarp cover for tears, punctures, or excessive wear.
- Anchoring: Verify that all ground nails, windbreak nails, and ropes remain securely fastened, especially after strong winds or storms. Re-tighten or re-anchor as needed.
- Zipper Care: Keep the zipper clean and free of debris. Lubricate with a silicone-based spray if it becomes stiff.
- Snow Removal: In areas with heavy snowfall, regularly remove accumulated snow from the roof to prevent structural damage.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your portable shed.
7.1 Shed Instability / Wind Damage
- Issue: Shed moves or collapses in windy conditions.
- Solution: Ensure all ground nails and windbreak ropes are properly installed and taut. Add additional anchoring points or weights (e.g., sandbags on the extended tarp cover) if the area is prone to strong winds. Verify the frame connections are secure.
7.2 Tarp Tears or Wear
- Issue: The tarp cover develops tears or shows signs of accelerated wear.
- Solution: Inspect the frame for any sharp edges that might be rubbing against the tarp. Patch small tears with a heavy-duty tarp repair kit. For significant damage, consider replacing the cover. Ensure the shed is not exposed to extreme prolonged UV radiation without proper care.
7.3 Water Accumulation Inside
- Issue: Water collects inside the shed.
- Solution: Check for proper installation of the cover, ensuring no gaps or sagging areas where water can pool. Verify the zipper is fully closed. Ensure the ground beneath the shed is level and drains well.
