3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking

3.3 Initial Power-On
After allowing the freezer to stand upright for 24 hours, plug it into a dedicated 120V grounded outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate. Allow the freezer to cool down for several hours before loading it with food.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Temperature Adjustment
Your Krib Bling chest freezer features an external adjustable thermostat with 7 temperature levels. The dial is located on the lower front panel of the freezer.
- Rotate the dial to select your desired temperature setting.
- Setting 1 is the least cold, suitable for items that need to be kept cool but not deeply frozen.
- Setting 7 provides the deepest freeze for long-term storage of frozen goods.
- Adjust the setting gradually and monitor the internal temperature to find the optimal level for your needs.

4.2 Loading the Freezer

5. Maintenance
5.1 Defrosting
Over time, frost may build up inside the freezer. For optimal performance and energy efficiency, defrost the freezer when the frost layer is about 0.2 inches (5 mm) thick.
- Unplug the freezer from the power outlet.
- Remove all food items and store them in another freezer or cooler.
- Open the lid and place a towel or shallow pan under the drainage hole located at the bottom of the freezer to collect water.
- Use the provided defrosting scraper to gently remove ice. Do not use sharp metal objects.
- Once defrosted, wipe the interior dry with a soft cloth.
- Plug the freezer back in and allow it to cool before returning food.

5.2 Cleaning

- Unplug the freezer before cleaning.

- For the exterior, use a soft cloth and a mild cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
