3.2 Placement

3.3 Initial Power-On

After placing the freezer, allow it to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant and oils in the compressor to settle, preventing potential damage. Once settled, plug the freezer into a dedicated grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Temperature Control

The freezer features an adjustable 7-grade temperature control dial located on the front lower right side. Rotate the dial to select your desired temperature setting:

  • Levels 1-2: Ideal for keeping items cool, such as beverages or fresh produce (approx. 32°F to 50°F).
  • Levels 3-7: For freezing and deep freezing items (approx. 32°F to -11.2°F). Higher numbers indicate colder temperatures.

4.2 Using the Removable Basket

5. Maintenance

5.1 Defrosting

This is a manual defrost freezer. Defrost the freezer when the frost layer on the interior walls reaches about 0.2 inches (5 mm) thick. To defrost:

  1. Unplug the freezer from the power outlet.
  2. Remove all food items and place them in another freezer or cooler.
  3. Open the drain plug located at the bottom of the freezer to allow water to escape. Place a shallow pan or towel underneath to collect the water.
  4. Leave the lid open to speed up the defrosting process.
  5. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly before plugging it back in and returning food items.

5.2 Cleaning

Regularly clean the interior and exterior of the freezer with a mild detergent and warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or sharp objects that could damage the surfaces.
