5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Adjusting Height
The roller stand features an adjustable height mechanism. To adjust the height:
- Loosen the height adjustment knob located on the main frame.
- Raise or lower the roller assembly to the desired height (between 27 inches and 43 inches).
- Tighten the knob firmly to secure the roller assembly in place.

5.2 Using Edge Guides
The roller stand is equipped with highly visible edge guides to prevent workpieces from shifting off the roller during operation.
- The edge guides can be pivoted up or down to accommodate different workpiece widths.
- Raise the guides to support wider materials or lower them for narrower pieces.

5.3 Stabilizing on Uneven Surfaces
An eccentric foot is integrated into the design to enhance stability on uneven surfaces.
- Rotate the eccentric foot at the base of the stand to compensate for minor irregularities in the floor.
- Adjust until the stand is stable and does not wobble.

5.4 General Use
Position the roller stand to support long workpieces when using saws, planers, or other woodworking machinery. Ensure the roller height is aligned with your equipment for smooth material feeding.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your roller stand:
- Cleaning: Wipe down the stand with a damp cloth after each use to remove dust and debris.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a light lubricant to the roller bearings and height adjustment mechanism to ensure smooth operation.
- Inspection: Regularly check all bolts, nuts, and connections for tightness. Tighten any loose fasteners. Inspect the roller for smooth rotation and the frame for any signs of damage or bending.
- Storage: When not in use, fold the stand for compact storage in a dry, clean area.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your WORKPRO Folding Roller Stand, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Stand wobbles or is unstable | Uneven surface; loose fasteners; eccentric foot not adjusted | Adjust eccentric foot; ensure stand is on a level surface; tighten all assembly bolts. |
| Roller does not turn smoothly | Debris in bearings; lack of lubrication; damaged roller | Clean roller and bearings; apply lubricant; inspect for damage and replace if necessary. |
| Height adjustment slips | Knob not tightened sufficiently; worn internal mechanism | Ensure knob is fully tightened; inspect internal locking mechanism for wear. |
