Introduction

Thank you for choosing the VASTFIRE LEP + LED Combo Flashlight. This powerful and versatile flashlight is designed for various applications, offering exceptional brightness and long-distance illumination. Its durable construction and intelligent features make it an ideal tool for outdoor activities, emergency situations, and everyday carry.

Setup

1. Initial Battery Preparation

Before first use, ensure the battery is properly installed and any protective packaging is removed. The flashlight comes with a pre-installed Lithium Polymer battery. To activate the flashlight, it is crucial to remove the cardboard disc located in the battery compartment. This disc prevents battery contact during shipping.

1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
2. Locate and remove the small cardboard disc placed between the battery and the contact point.
3. Ensure the battery is inserted with the correct polarity (+/-).
4. Securely screw the tail cap back on.

2. Charging the Battery

The flashlight features a built-in Type-C charging port and can also function as a power bank.

• Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the flashlight's Type-C port.
• Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, car charger).
• The intelligent power indicator on the side switch will show the charging status:
  • Red light: Battery is charging (Power < 20%).
  • Green light: Battery is fully charged (Power > 20%).
• A full charge typically takes approximately 8 hours.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Brightness Modes

The flashlight features multiple brightness levels and special modes for various situations.

• Power On: Single-click the side switch to turn the flashlight on.
• Cycle Brightness: While the flashlight is on, single-click the side switch to cycle through the three brightness levels: High (5000 lumens) → Medium (3000 lumens) → Low (1000 lumens).
• Maximum Brightness (Turbo): Double-click the side switch from any state (on or off) to instantly activate the maximum brightness (5000 lumens).
• Strobe Mode: Long-press the side switch for approximately 2 seconds to activate Strobe mode (3000 lumens).
• SOS Mode: While in Strobe mode, single-click the side switch to switch to SOS mode (3000 lumens).
• Power Off: Long-press the side switch for approximately 2 seconds from any mode to turn the flashlight off. Alternatively, if the flashlight has been on for more than 5 seconds in any mode, a single click will turn it off directly without cycling through modes.

2. Adjustable Focus (LEP + LED Combo)

The flashlight features an adjustable focus mechanism, allowing you to switch between a wide floodlight and a concentrated spotlight beam.

• To adjust the focus, gently slide the head of the flashlight forward or backward.
• Sliding the head forward will narrow the beam, creating a powerful spotlight for long-distance illumination (up to 1,260 yards).
• Sliding the head backward will widen the beam, providing a broad floodlight for illuminating a large area.

3. Power Bank Functionality

The VASTFIRE flashlight can also serve as a portable power bank to charge your mobile devices.

• Locate the USB-A output port next to the Type-C input port.
• Connect your device's charging cable to the USB-A output port on the flashlight.
• The flashlight's 5000 mAh capacity can provide a quick charge to your phone or other small electronics in a pinch.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, keep the flashlight clean. Wipe the body with a soft, damp cloth. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth to avoid scratches.

2. Waterproofing (IPX6)

The VASTFIRE flashlight is rated IPX6 water-resistant, meaning it can withstand powerful water jets. It is suitable for use in rain or snowy conditions, but it is not designed for submersion in water.

3. Impact Resistance

Constructed from durable aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, the flashlight is designed to withstand impacts. It has a 1-meter impact resistance rating, ensuring durability in rugged conditions.

Troubleshooting

• Flashlight not turning on: Ensure the cardboard disc has been removed from the battery compartment during initial setup. Check that the battery is inserted with the correct polarity.
• Battery not holding charge: If the flashlight's battery life significantly decreases over time, it may indicate a need for battery replacement. Ensure you are using the provided charging cable and a reliable power source.
• Beam appears distorted or uneven: Adjust the focus mechanism by sliding the head of the flashlight to achieve a clear and even beam.
