This user manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation of your Tiskgg 2.6 Cubic Fireproof Depository Safe. Safety Information
- Always keep the emergency keys in a secure location, separate from the safe itself, and do not store them inside the safe.
- Ensure the safe is installed on a stable, level surface or securely mounted to a wall/floor to prevent tipping or unauthorized removal.
- Do not attempt to force the safe open if the electronic lock malfunctions or if you forget the code. Use the emergency key or external battery box as instructed.
- Keep the safe away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
- Regularly check the battery level of the electronic lock to ensure proper function.

Setup
1. Initial Opening and Battery Installation
- Locate the emergency keyhole, usually concealed behind the electronic keypad or a removable cover.
- Insert one of the emergency keys and turn it clockwise while simultaneously turning the knob to open the safe door.
- Inside the safe door, locate the battery compartment. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) with the correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
2. Setting Your Personal Code
- With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door, near the hinge. You will hear a beep.
- On the keypad, enter your desired 3-8 digit personal code.
- Press the "#" or "E" button to confirm. You will hear a confirmation beep.
- Test the new code with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.
3. Mounting the Safe (Optional but Recommended)
The safe has pre-drilled holes in the bottom and back for secure mounting to a wall or floor, preventing unauthorized removal.
- Choose a suitable location for mounting, ensuring it is a solid surface (e.g., concrete wall, wooden stud, or floor).
- Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes on the back or bottom of the safe onto your chosen surface.
- Drill pilot holes using an appropriate drill bit size for the provided expansion bolts.
- Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the expansion bolts.
- Tighten the bolts securely to fasten the safe in place.

Operation
1. Opening the Safe
There are three primary methods to open your Tiskgg Depository Safe:
- Using Personal Code: Enter your 3-8 digit personal code on the keypad, then press "#" or "E". Turn the knob clockwise within 5 seconds to open the door.
- Using Emergency Keys: If you forget your code or the battery is dead, insert the emergency key into the hidden keyhole and turn it clockwise while simultaneously turning the knob to open.
- Using External Battery Box and Personal Code: If the internal batteries are dead and you don't have the emergency key readily available, connect the external battery box to the port on the keypad. Then, enter your personal code and turn the knob to open.

2. Using the Drop Slot
The depository slot allows you to deposit items without opening the main safe door.
- Gently pull the delivery slot forward to open the access point.
- Place money, checks, documents, or small packages into the slot.
- Push the delivery slot back into its closed position. The items will drop into the main compartment of the safe.
- The delivery port is designed with a serrated edge tilt stopper to prevent unauthorized retrieval of deposited items.

3. Smart Locking System
For enhanced security, the safe features a smart locking system:
- If you enter the wrong password 3 times in a row, the system will lock for 20 seconds.
- If you enter the wrong password 6 times in a row, it will lock for 5 minutes.
- During the locked period, the keypad will be unresponsive. Wait for the timer to expire before attempting to enter the code again.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the safe's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears or if the keypad becomes unresponsive. Always use new, high-quality AA alkaline batteries.
- Lock Mechanism: Do not lubricate the electronic lock or keypad. Keep them clean and dry.
- Interior: The soft cushion mat at the bottom can be removed and cleaned as needed.
