Setup and Installation
The FULEN AL-1 lights are designed for simple, tool-free installation using magnetic adhesion.
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the desired installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth.
- Attach Adhesive Metal Plates: Peel the protective film from one side of the adhesive metal plate. Stick this side firmly onto the chosen surface. Apply pressure for a few seconds to ensure good adhesion.
- Mount the Light: The light bar has integrated magnets. Align the light bar with the installed metal plate and allow the magnets to secure it in place.

For metal surfaces, the light can be directly attached without the adhesive metal plates.
Operating Instructions
Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the light for 3-4 hours. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the light's Type-C port and a compatible USB power source. The indicator light will change to show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).

Motion Sensor Modes
The light features two automatic motion sensor modes:
- AUTO1 Mode: This mode is more sensitive. The light will automatically turn on when motion is detected in low light conditions, such as early morning or evening.
- AUTO2 Mode: This mode is more energy-saving. The light will only activate when motion is detected in darker conditions, typically at night.
Select the appropriate mode using the switch on the light bar to suit your environment and preferences.

Sweep Sensor Function
In "ON" mode, the light can be turned on or off by sweeping your hand above the sensor. Position your hand approximately 0.43 to 3 inches (1-7.5 cm) above the sensor to activate this function. This allows for hands-free control, which is useful in areas like kitchens.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the light bar with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the lights when brightness begins to dim. Store the lights in a cool, dry place if not in use for extended periods, and recharge them every few months.
- Sensor Care: Keep the motion and sweep sensors clean and free from obstructions to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on. | Battery is discharged. Incorrect mode selected. Sensor obstructed. | Charge the light for 3-4 hours. Ensure the light is in "ON", "AUTO1", or "AUTO2" mode. Clear any obstructions from the sensor. |
| Motion sensor is too sensitive or not sensitive enough. | Incorrect AUTO mode selected for ambient light conditions. | Switch between AUTO1 (more sensitive) and AUTO2 (less sensitive, for darker conditions) to find the optimal setting. |
| Light falls off after installation. | Adhesive not properly applied or surface not clean. Excessive force applied to the light. | Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying adhesive. Press firmly for several seconds. Re-apply with new adhesive if necessary. Avoid bumping the light. |
| Sweep sensor not responding. | Light not in "ON" mode. Hand too far or too close to the sensor. | Ensure the light is set to "ON" mode. Position your hand within 0.43-3 inches (1-7.5 cm) above the sensor. |
