4. Setup Guide

4.2 Camera Pairing and Wi-Fi Connection
- Ensure your camera is fully charged before initial setup.
- In the VicoHome App, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
- Select your camera model from the list.
- Follow the App's prompts to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Note: 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported.
- Scan the QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens when prompted.
- Once connected, the camera's indicator light will change, and the App will confirm successful pairing.
4.3 Physical Installation
- Choose a suitable location for installation. Consider areas that provide a clear view of the desired monitoring area and are within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal.
- For outdoor use, installing the camera in a sheltered location (e.g., under an eave or porch) is recommended to provide additional protection from extreme weather and keep the lens clean.
- Use the provided bracket and screws to securely mount the camera to a wall or desired surface.

5.1 Live View and Playback
- Open the VicoHome App and select your camera to view the live feed.
- To access recorded videos, navigate to the playback section within the App. You can view videos stored on the Micro SD card or from the 3-day cloud history.
5.2 Motion Detection Settings
- In the VicoHome App, go to the camera settings.
- Adjust the PIR motion detection sensitivity to suit your environment.
- Configure AI recognition settings to filter out unwanted objects.
- Set up custom schedule times for monitoring to save battery power and avoid unwanted alarms during specific periods.
